Webb Park Playground Dedication

The City of Williamstown applied and received a Playful City Designation. By becom- ing a Playful City, Williamstown was able to apply for a grant through KaBOOM! The organization is a private foundation dedi- cated to creating play spac- es. KaBOOM! later chose and rewarded the City of Willliamstown a $20,000 grant. The two play centers, exclud- ing mulch and borders, cost $36,921. The city also received $6,000 from Williamstown Kiwanis and more than $7,000 in fund- raisers, business leaders, community leaders and indi- viduals.
