Kid Print ID project Members of the Morehead Lions Club participated in AHEC’s Oh, Baby It’s a Baby Shower April 7 with its Kid Print ID booth. Kid Print ID gives parents an identification card with their child’s photo, thumbprint, name, date of birth, eye color, hair color, height and weight and other information in case the child were to become miss- ing or abducted. The database is kept by the Morehead Police De- partment, a major sponsor of Kid Print, along with other agencies and businesses. The Lions Club also had a booth at Saturday’s Fam- ily Fun Day. Another opportunity for parents to have their child’s card made is May 5 at the Tin Woof Inn’s Paws 4 the Cause fundraiser for sheriff department’s canine officer from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Photos by Stephanie Ockerman)

Members of Delta Gamma sorority at Morehead State University helped the Lions Club at the Kid Print ID booth April 7. From left are Emily Caldwell, Rachel Skeans and Emma Lucas.
