Sreejith, former Dean, Faculty of Engineering, CUSAT Passumed the office of Principal on June 3, 2019. Dr Sreejith took his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras, and did his Post Doctoral ON CREATIVE DESK Fellowship from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in the area of Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology. He has formerly served as Principal of College of Engineering, Kuttanad and has held academic and administrative positions in various institutions within India and abroad. Poulose Jacob is the founder Director of the School of Computer Mr. Nithin P. Vijayan Science Studies, CUSAT. His research interests are mainly in Intelligent Architectures, Networks, Information Systems Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. He has more than 120 publications to his credit. RSETnews 2019 5 GREEN BUILDINGS AND SUSTAINABLE ENGINEERING (GBSE 2019) The second edition of the International Conference on Green Buildings and Sustainable Engineering (GBSE 2019), organized by RSET in association with IGTE, University of Stuttgart, Germany was held on February 19 & 20, 2019. The theme for this year’s conference was Ecotechnological and Digital Solutions for Smart Cities. Preconference workshops were conducted on Green Mobility for Smart Cities, and Laurie Baker Approach.
