RIGHT-OF-WAY NOTIFICATION

In compliance with Section 9.10 of the New Jersey Pesticide Control Book (N.J.A.C. Title 7, Chapter 30), the Middlesex County Department of Highways will be applying pesticides for the control of vegetation along County Road Right-of-Ways on an area-wide basis, as needed, throughout Middlesex County during the period of April 23, 2018 through October 26, 2018. The pesticides to be used to control vegetation are those recommended by the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) which include:

Aminopyralid Tri-Isopropanolammonium (Milestone7) Dimethylamine Salt of 2,4 - Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (Amine 4 or 2, 4-D) Diuron (Diuron 80 WDG) Glysophosate (Roundup Pro7, Eraser7 or Glypos Pro7) Metsulfuron Methyl (Escort XP) , 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid (Grazon7 P+D) Sulfometuron Methyl (Oust XP) (Garlon 3A7) Flumioxazin (Sureguard)

Products will be applied from ground using truck-mounted equipment. All applications will be made according to product labeling and NJAES recommendations. In the case of a pesticide emergency, please contact the New Jersey Poison Information and Education System at 1-800-222- 1222, or the National Pesticide Information Center at 1-800-858-7378 for routine pesticide related health inquiries.

Upon request the Middlesex County Department of Highways shall provide a resident with notification at least 12 hours prior to the application, except for Quarantine and Disease Vector Control only, when conditions necessitate pesticide applications sooner than that time.
