Hardware & System Requirements

Software • Internet Explorer 9, Windows 7, and .NET Framework 4 (full version) which is required for scanning Hardware • 2.0 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB free disk space, 2 GB RAM, 1024 x 768 high color (16-bit), and 100 Mbps network card Peripheral Devices • 2 megapixel digital camera (optional), TWAIN-compliant scanner supporting .bmp format, and Windows-based printer Internet Connection • High speed Internet (3.0 Mbps download / 1.0 Mbps upload, DSL or cable) Software McKesson recommends Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 web-browsers and a Windows 7 64bit operating system. A minimum of Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or Windows XP SP3, with .NET framework 4 full Version (for scanning) is required. We do not support Apple operating systems or hardware. *Alternative Internet Browsers may work but are not supported by McKesson Computer Hardware You will need a computer to access this system. McKesson recommends a 2.0 GHz Dual Core processor, 1280x1024 True Color (32 Bit) resolution, 8Gb RAM of memory, with 4Gb free disk and a 100/10000Mbps network card. A minimum of 4Gb RAM of memory, with 2Gb free disk is required. Tablets may work, but must be equipped with the Windows Software system and Hardware requirements detailed above to be fully supported by McKesson. McKesson does not support Apple operating systems or hardware.

McKesson Practice Choice supports Windows 8 and Chrome 30, but not Windows 8 RT.

McKesson Practice Choice does not support Android OS.

Optional Hardware When taking photos, a 12Megapixel digital camera is recommended. A Windows supported printer with a twain compliant scanner (jpb, gif) is necessary for printing and scanning. TIF scanning is not supported. Virtual machines, Internet-Connection Trouble Shooting and Remote Desktop Protocol Systems are not supported.
