This event is sanctioned by ASN Canada FIA as a championship event conducted under the 2012 ASN Canada FIA regulations and is organized by the Sports Car Club of British Columbia and the Burnaby Coquitlam Motorsport Association, at the Mission Raceway Park Road Course in Mission, BC. Paved Paddock Spaces: Paddock reservations are made with your registration on MotorsportReg.com. Please indicate your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. They will be assigned in the order the entries are received. If your entry is late or you do not indicate your choices, your pit assignment will be determined upon arrival from any remaining. The back row will be allocated to pre-approved trailers first.

EVENT NOTES

1. We highly suggest that you arrive early to prepare and that you and your car are ready to start by 7:30am. You may miss some morning practice if you are not prepared.

• Competitors must be registered before they can participate. • First time drivers at this facility are strongly encouraged to walk the track prior to the first session of each day. • The driver's meeting starts at 8:30am. Driver's meeting is mandatory for all drivers. Anyone missing the meeting will have to see the organizer and Steward before being allowed on track. • First cars on the track for open practice at 9:00 am. • There will be a second driver's meeting before competition starts to announce run groups. • Time and location of second drivers meeting will be announced on the public address system and posted in Drivers Services.

3. No drivers are allowed on track unless registered, scrutineered, and in their proper run group.

4. Minors must have waivers signed by a parent or legal guardian before they are allowed on track or in the track area including paddocks and pits. Waivers here:

Competitive runs will follow the ASN CANADA FIA Time Attack Regulations with passing as defined in Section 2.9.

6. Judges of Fact will be utilized to judge infractions of Section 2.9 of the 2012 Time Attack regulations.

7. We have scheduled four sessions of timed laps. If events transpire during the day that prevent this, we will complete the last full session for all run groups and open the track for lapping until the course closes at 5pm.

8. No passengers allowed.

9. All competitors (while competing) must wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants, and close toed shoes (not sandals.)

10. All competitors must have classified their cars with the online Car Classification Database.

11. All competitors MUST HAVE A PRINTED COPY OF THEIR CLASSIFICATION WITH THEM ALONG WITH SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DYNO PLOTS WITH THE DECLARATION FORM, CURB WEIGHT DECLARATION FORMS, ALIGNMENT REPORTS (if claiming stock alignment on a modified suspension).

Failure to present this printed copy of the classification to an official or competitor on the day of competition may result in scoring in Modified class or exclusion from the results at the discretion of the stewards. There will be no impound. Inquiries related to eligibility and classing must be received before provisional results are posted (ASN GCR 9.5.i).

12. All cars are required to display the designated sponsor decals to go on track on both days. You must also display Time Attack legal car numbers on both sides, and one horizontal surface of your car.

13. Two wheels beyond the curbing is considered Four Wheels Off and the competitor receives no official times for that session. Course and Flag Marshals are considered judges of fact for this section.

SCCBC 2012 Event Supplementary Regulations for CACC/CTAC

Your application/entry to the event constitutes acceptance of these Supplementary Regulations. Infractions will result in penalties being assessed to the driver.

1. All events are to be held on the Mission Raceway Park Road Course in a counter clockwise direction. 2. All events will be timed & scored by the AMB Transponder System. Racecars must have an AMB TranX260 transponder installed and operating in each session. 3. Open to cars eligible under ASN Canada FIA, CACC, or SCCA current regulations. 4. Insurance shall be as per ASN Canada FIA and CACC regulations. 5. All competitors, entrants, crewmembers and guests must sign the official release agreement and waiver. 6. All minors (under 19) require a signed "minor waiver" for each event (available at Registration). 7. No one under the age of 16 is permitted in the hot pit area, with the exception of drivers holding a CACC Junior Race License. 8. NSF cheques will be charged an additional $40.00 Canadian fee. 9. Consumption of alcohol during an event is NOT PERMITTED at Mission Raceway Park! You are responsible for the behavior of your crew and guests. 10.Driver Services and the Official Notice Board are located in the SCCBC Clubhouse near Pregrid. 11.No racing engines may be started prior to 10 minutes before the 1st scheduled session, then warm as quietly as possible until the 1minute warning. 12. The scales will be open Saturday from noon and Sunday all day. 13. No skateboards, scooters, or roller blades. Small motorized vehicles allowed by permission of the Steward only. Permission may be withdrawn at any time. NO ONE UNDER 16 IS ALLOWED TO OPERATE A MOTORIZED VEHICLE OR BYCYCLE (except for drivers holding a CACC Junior Race License)! 14. Both front paved lanes in the Paddock area run EASTBOUND from 10 minutes before the 1st scheduled session. Rear lane is two-way. Speed Limit: SLOW - excessive speed will be subject to penalties assessed by the Steward. No testing on any facility roadway. 15. Refueling not allowed in Pregrid. Fueling in the Hot Pits requires a crewmember assigned only to manning a fire bottle. 16. NO SMOKING allowed in Hot Pits, Pre-grid or any Mission Raceway Park Building. 17. The Hot Pit speed limit is fifty (50) kilometers per hour (30 mph). The Hot Pit Lane ends at the Starters Tower. Penalties may apply. 18. All support vehicles must be parked within the assigned paddock space. Roads MUST remain clear. All Support vehicles and trailers must be parked perpendicular to the track unless permission is obtained in writing from the organizer. 19. No one may plug into any facility power outlet, without the written permission of the Chief Organizer. 20. No generators may exceed 80 decibels (db) from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. No generators from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM 21. No race vehicle may exceed 95 decibels (db) measured at 50ft. from the racing surface. Readings will be taken at an acceleration point. Cars exceeding the db limit will have one or more of their times in that session erased, or be disqualified from their session. 22. Damage to track, grounds, buildings or equipment, regardless of cause, will be charged to the driver responsible. Damage to paved areas may result in fines. You are required to protect the asphalt from damage by jacks, jack stands, poles, etc.

23. If entries exceed the number of cars allowed on the track for any one group, drivers and cars entered, as an "additional entry" will be restricted from participating, based on the date the entries were received. 24. All hazardous waste spills are to be reported to the Paddock Marshall. Anyone caught dumping oil will be FINED and BANNED from the raceway. Drivers will be assessed a cost of $50 per bag for any grease sweep required for fluid leaks or spills anywhere in the facility. 25. DO NOT BLOCK THE PAVED PADDOCK LANES DURING RACES. Trailers may be loaded at the back of the paddock. 26. Tire scrubbing is not allowed at any time. 27. No open fires anywhere! Barbecues will be the only exception as long as they are away from any combustible source such as gas cans, gas tanks or fuel cells, etc. 28. No overnight camping at the track Sunday night without permission, please contact the SCCBC President. 29. Gates are closed for the evening at 10:30pm and reopened at 7:00am. In case of emergency a security guard stationed at the gates will allow access to and from the track. There is a pay phone at the far East end of the spectator parking lot. 30. Sleeved shirts, closed toe shoes, and visible wristbands must be worn and clearly visible in the Pregrid, Hot Pits and Impound areas. Long pants are required in the Hot Pits. 31. All cars must report to pre-grid before entering or re-entering the track from the paddock. 32. All pets must be on a reasonable length leash while on site. 33. Upon exiting the Hot Pit, stay in the dedicated pit-out lane to turn 1. Failure to comply may result in penalty or exclusion 34. All race participants and their race/support vehicles must vacate the premises by 7PM on the final day of each event. 35. Any race vehicle on the run off road drivers right turn four must come to a stop prior to Turn Station 6 and wait for direction from a Corner Marshal prior to re-entering the track. No positional advancement or lap time advancement will be allowed. Failure to comply may result in a penalty. 36. Racecars failing to negotiate Turn 1 that do not pass the Commitment Line may re-enter safely at Turn 1. Any racecar past the Commitment Line must re-enter safely at Turn 3. No positional advancement or lap time advancement will be allowed. Failure to comply may result in penalty or exclusion at the discretion of the Steward. 37. Any race vehicle that exits the racing surface in 7A or 7B must re-enter the track only when safe to do so. No positional advancement or lap time advancement will be allowed. Failure to comply may result in a penalty. 38. Vehicles exiting the track via the pit entrance must stay four wheels to the right of the white pit entrance line in Turn 9 for the entire length of the white line. Failure to comply may result in a penalty. 39. Vehicles not exiting the track must not place four wheels to the right of the white pit entrance line in Turn 9. Failure to comply may result in a penalty. 40. There is no access to Race Control without the permission of Race Control. 41. There is no access to the PA stand except for authorized observers and event personnel. 42. The SCCBC reserves the right to, at their discretion, refuse entry and/or access and/or remove participants from the Mission Raceway Park. 43. Entrants in the SoloSprint group must comply with all sections of the 2012 CACC SoloSprint Rulebook pertaining to Time Attack events.
