Naira Poghosyan started to play the piano at the age of seven at the Music School Tigranyan. From the very first year, she participated in all school concerts and various international competitions. After completing her elementary degree, she entered the Yerevan State Humanitarian College where she was the best piano student and started to take part in soloist concerts. In 2001, Naira entered the Yerevan State Pedagogical University. During her years at the University, she gave two important concerts as a soloist with a rather demanding programme including composers such as Bach,Mozart, Chopin, Prokofiev, Babajanyan, Khachaturian, Komitas. She performed in the House-Museum of Aram Khachaturian.and also had the opportunity to give concerts in various cities of Armenia with Violin duet. Shortly before heading for Belgium, she gave a solo concert at the Komitas Chamber Music House. In Belgium, she got her second Master degree at Royal Conservatory of Ghent .
