The “Palaeolimnology of Northern Eurasia” International Conference is the 4th conference regularly held every two years. It addresses a very important scientific challenge of reconstruction of paleogeographic and paleoclimatic conditions in Northern Eurasia based on interdisciplinary analyses of sediment cores collected from lakes of different types. Purposes of the conference: • Meeting colleagues from various Russian and foreign scientific centers to exchange knowledge and experiences of the last decades in the field of paleolimnology; • Conducting workshops for young scientists, postgraduates and students; • Determination of the future perspectives and the development of plans for joint future research.

The official languages of the Conference are English and Russian First Circular

During the school of young scientists, one-day Materials of the Conference are planned to be published in special issues of: fieldwork onboard RV «G.Yu. Vereshchagin» will be planned on Lake Baikal

The organizing Committee reserves the right to reject applications that are not relevant to the topic of the conference or not in compliance with the requirements.
