MAIN OBJECTIVES  to bring together scientists working in the area of Northern Eurasian paleolimnology;  to exchange paleolimnological ana paleoecological knowledge;  to discuss the latest paleolimnological and paleoecological data;  to look for new possibilities of cooperation.

Paleolimnology of Northern Eurasia

Main scientific topics 1. International and Russian experience and results of paleolimnological research. 2. Modern theoretical and methodological grounds and long-term goals of paleolimnological research. 3. Modern technologies and experience of their application in paleolimnology and paleogeography. 4. Issues of the organization of interdisciplinary paleogeographical and paleolimnological research. 5. Paleogeographical and paleolimnological research of Northern Eurasia.

Invitations and visas The Organizing Committee can prepare and send:  the invitation letter for the Russian participants (mark at the registration form);  the invitation letter for visa support for foreign participants (mark at the registration form).

Oral and poster presentations The languages of the conference are Russian and English. The conference program suggests oral and poster presentations.  oral presentation duration: 15 minutes; discussion duration: 5 minutes (computers and multimedia projectors will be available);  poster presentation: format A1 (594 х 841 mm); vertical orientation of sheet.

Cultural program The Organizing Committee offers to take part in several excursions, including the Lena Pillars – UNESCO World Heritage Site (detailed information will be available in the 3d circular).

Abstracts Abstracts will be published in a special conference digest. Abstracts have to be up to 3 pages A4 (12 pt, single line spacing) including monochrome images and references (see rules below). Deadline for abstract submission is April 30, 2016.
