I’ll be the first to admit that the most recent seasons of Saturday Night Live (of which Meyers is the Head Writer, for those of you unaware) haven’t been the show’s best. So I was worried that the evening would be filled with the same lackluster material I’ve come to expect from Meyers, week af- ter week.
