Squeak Carnwath: Still Happy, 2003, cotton Jacquard tapestry. Turner Carroll Gallery (725 Canyon Road) presents Woven, an exhibit of Jacquard tapestries by artists Deborah Oropallo, Hung Liu, Chuck Close, and others. The Jacquard loom combines thousands of threads into elaborate images capturing minute details even in photorealist works like those by Close. The show is on view starting Monday, March 17.
