Test your bike skills on this self paced journey and tour through some of the oldest cities and regions of Bavaria from early morning until sunset. Visit Bamberg - a world class city port. Discover Erlangen - "the beer city of Germany" and while you are there enjoy some locally brewed beers. Wander around medieval Nurnberg. Take in Bavarian landscapes from a sundeck and bike through one of Germany's most beautiful bike routes “The Regnitz Radweg”. Tour along valleys, canals and of course the blue river Danube. A day tour takes you to Freystadt, where you can visit the pilgrim church of “Mari Hilf Wallfahrtskirche” - a baroque monument in the middle of flowering fields. On your last day a city tour of medieval Regensburg where you can stop and do some last minute shopping! If you can't keep up get an E- bike! (electronic) - they are fantastic!

The barge was built in 1929 as a freighter of type 'luxury motor.In 1993 the ship was converted into a passenger ship. She was renovated and rebuilt during winter 2011/2012. It is a great ship to relax after a bike ride.
Capacity: max. 19 people Cabins: 9 double cabins. All cabins with private bathroom and central heating. Split-level beds. Electricity 220 V
The ship complies with the strict safety regulations laid down by the Dutch Shipping Inspection Authorities. On board you find a cosy dining room, a sun deck to relax after your bike tour. All cabins are provided with hot and cold water, private shower and toilet, 220 voltage and central heating. There is limited storage space in the cabin.We recommend 1 suitcase p.p. You can slide the suitcase under the bed once you have unpacked.

Riedenburg - Beilngreis (cycling approx. 30km) After Bamberg After breakfast you can participate in a city breakfast we start our tour along one of Germanys tour, or you can do some last minute shopping in this most beautiful bike routes “the Regnitz-Radweg”. The nice town of Bamberg, a world class city, with its big national park "Altmuhital' is where you will bike along baroque buildings, cosy traditional German houses the valley with views of the old King Ludwig canal. and small alleys, which surprise you every time. Beilngreis - Hilpoltstein (cycling approx. 48km) After seeing thehitorical centre of the town of Beilngreis, we go on our way to the town of Freystadt with its pilgrim church 'Maris-Hilf-Wallfahrtskirche' a baroque monument n the middle of the fields. Arrival in Hilpotlstein.
Day 5
Hilpolstein - Nürnberg- Erlangan (cycling appr. 34km) Today we can enjoy the national park from Hilpolstein to Rothsee with beautiful Bavarian landscapes. We will also visit the medieval town of Nurnberg where you can visit the remains of the second world war including buildings of the Nurnberger trials. You will bike along one of the oldest canals in the world, the original Main to Danube canal from King Ludwig with its 101 locks and beautiful sites.
