Friends of the Arts: A Word About Ticket Vouchers My goal is to send out at least one more newsletter between now and Christmas Break, but sometimes things do not work out as planned. If you do not receive ticket vouchers for A Winter Festival or Upon a Winter's Eve, please don't hesitate to come to see these events! Just stop by the patron services table and sign in as a Friend of the Arts. Our student staff will be happy to provide you with your tickets. CCHS Chorus featured in Upon A Winter's Eve

Upon A Winter's Eve, the 2019 Holiday Chorus Concert, will wrap up our fall semester this year with a performance on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:30 PM in the CCHS Auditorium. The annual event will feature the choirs and ensembles of the CCHS Fine Arts Academy, under the direction of Ms. Lashan Wolfe.

The choral program has been busy this semester, with a number of holiday events scheduled in these last weeks of school, including participation in our dance concert. We will have more about the chorus concert in our next edition of The Finer Things.

Annual Fall Art Exhibit Scheduled for Thursday, December 12 Reflections 2019, the annual fall student art exhibit, is scheduled for Thursday, December 12 with an artists' reception scheduled for 5:00 PM, in the lobby of the Camden County High School Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. All fall semester CCHS Art students are eligible to participate in the exhibit.

Visual Art is one of the largest programs in the Fine Arts Academy, with 18 class sessions offered, including AP Art Studio (2-D and 3-D) and two sections of Dual Enrollment Art Appreciation.

The exhibit will be up until Friday to allow the audience for the CCHS Band Concert to enjoy the students' work. Patrons who attend the 5:00 reception will have a chance to meet with our art faculty - Mr. Cedric Corse, Mr. Grayson Day, and the newest addition to our Visual Arts Faculty - Ms. Susan Yeager. From the Director: Relections on Thanksgiving I know I mentioned Thanksgiving in my last newsletter, but as I was completing this one, my son and daughter-in-law stopped by the office to share pictures from the sonogram she had this afternoon. - their second child is due in April. They brought big sister along. Tuesdays during our preparation for Cinderella became "come to work with Grandpa" days, and in the photo on the left (currently my computer screen background) she can be seen helping me direct a rehearsal. That scene, by the way, was especially well-done. 

I am humbled when I think of the blessings in my life and career, and thankful that our family, the students, colleagues, and programs of Camden County High School, and you - our patrons - are among them.

See you at the theatre! Sincerely, Attached to this Newsletter
