He was given a 20-year sentence but was out in six due to good behavior. While incarcerated he successfully completed degrees in education and psychology. His appointment as Principal at Hero High caused an uproar, but his performance has been exemplary. When his mother was widowed, he took it upon himself to help raise his siblings. He was always inclined toward being kind, attentive, and responsible. Caring for others came naturally to him, and simply became easier when he learned of his power to split into multiple versions of himself and merge back together. He became a master of many trades, and can quite literally build a house as a one- man-team in a matter of weeks. He has a habit of putting others before himself, and a gift for bringing out the best in others. No job is too dirty or difficult if it means helping others. He was an easy choice for custodian of a school that regularly has some exceptional destruction and devastation on a weekly basis.

>Motivations: Helping other supers become the best version of themselves. >Secret or Hidden Info: All things he experiences are merged together at once when he merges back together, and can often be overwhelming. Some versions of himself who have experienced terrible things have taken their own lives in order to keep his whole self sane, but there appears to also be a lasting negative effect of having permanently lost those duplicates. Not long ago, Jon owned his own company contracted by the state to help with aftermath cleanup for super-power-specific damages and death. He was extremely successful, and the apparent disposability of his duplicates meant copies could be sent into actively dangerous situations (such as high radiation) or into situations where the psychological aftermath could be assessed before remerging and determine if he felt he couldn't deal with it and not remerge. The trauma of losing his copies and the gravity of the memories he did keep became too much, so he sought out a simpler and still helpful position with these young minds at the high school.

It's possible that her powers are a result of super drugs her mother took while pregnant. She was a member of the Glamazons before losing her peers in the Xsunga Event. While she later regained them she had become accustomed to the "normal life." A job offer to teach at the high school provided a way to use her gift while staying out of the lime light. >Motivations: Alisa is a fitness fanatic. It's a love that she tries to share when the student body. >Secret or Hidden Info: It's not the only love she wants to share with the student body. The sexy sweaty hormonal student body. Her super powers have come with a side effect, an overactive libido that borders on nymphomania. She's shacked up with many of the teaching and janitorial staff, and even scandalously recent graduates. So far she's managed to keep her hands off the student body, but it hasn't been easy.

However, Defective lived up to her name, and finds the idea of harming others absolutely unacceptable, as she can feel others emotions within a 10 meter radius. After escaping into the ocean, she eventually washed ashore, and discovered humanity's love for good cooking. They patrol the school at night to keep troublemakers in check.

After the apprenticeship he became a villain repeatedly threatening West Coast Cities. He was capture and escaped twice, before final serving out 17 of a 45 year sentence. He claims that his Evil doings where the result of a blow to the head, and the effects were reversed after a similar blow in a Prison Brawl. On top of his teaching duties he maintains a lot of the schools super equipment. >Motivations: "Knowledge Is Power!" May be attempting to raise a super powered army from the ranks of the school's children. >Secret or Hidden Info: Despite having played his debt to society, he is one of several ex-villian staff still heavily monitored by the Department of Parahuman Affairs. After a fling, he has developed feelings for Iron Woman though Alisa has made it known the feelings aren't reciprocated.

And faculty, occasionally. >Short Bio: 10 years ago, his fiance gifted him with a dream vacation to Central America. While taking a selfie at the lip of an active volcano, she fell in and, without thinking, Mr. Hughes reached for her. She grabbed his arm, pulling him down with her. His super powers activated, but she didn't have any. Becoming a millionaire from the life insurance payout did not help his standing in t he community. Whoopsy. >Motivations: Mr. Hughes never wanted to be a hero, he just wanted to do a little good in the world; marry, become a deacon, and finally retire so he could go fishing 6 days a week. Accepting the position meant the police agencies would drop the murder investigation, and that was well enough - 8 years ago. But now he's settled in and realized this school is a hell brimming with super powered psychopaths. The institution is fighting evolution itself, and it will always lose. They're pleading with students not to embrace their true potential, and a guilt trip can only last so long. Uses Karaoke Wednesdays at Casa de la Montezuma to process his guilt. He also knows all of the best fishing spots in a 300 mile radius, a secret he will die to protect.

She had a practice specializing in Super clients and has done therapy with several big name heroes, and even a couple villains. After the Xsunga Event and her third time being held captive by a villian, she closed her practice and took a lower stress job offer at Hero High in addition to being in partial witness protection. Some credit her with the schools success rate instead of Painkiller. >Motivations: Desire to help and a fascination with metahuman psychology. >Secret or Hidden Info: Rumor has it that there is a sex tape in circulation featuring her and Iron Woman. Wilder rumors include that it's not Iron Woman but Defective the Xenomorph Lunchlady. To date there has been no evidence to substantiate these rumors, even that Unkown and the school newspaper could uncover.

The majority of which were the result of mistranslations from his faulty universal translator. He's since learned English and as a result misunderstandings are now rare. He's technically the Gorlaxian ambassador to Earth, but the planet has a low population, and no military or economy to speak of. He has been a regular fixture at Hero High for two decades. He got a job, after taking Nightschool English lessons. His body's ability to to break down biological, chemical and even nuclear hazards has made him a useful addition to the janitorial staff. However his tendency to drip, non-toxic, green slime everywhere means he is rarely call out to help clean up, except in emergencies. He's semi retired, only working a free hours a week as a bus driver. His ability to teleport himself and a busload of children thousands of miles makes him a valuable school asset. He picks up students from all across the continental US and sometimes further and returns them after school. He loves kids and all but the edgiest consider him a sort of additional Grandpa. >Motivations: Love of kids, wanting to stay active. >Secret or Hidden Info: After an incident involving several criminals in Florida who were defrauding the elderly, he officially lost his hero license. He sometimes still goes out in weekends to meet out vigilante justice, especially against those targeting the young or elderly.

The reason, it turned out, was Marie. Born to ungifted parents, she is considered a miracle. Was a Doctor for many years. As she reaches an older age, she has taken the job of school nurse, which is welcome after many years of stress. Her touch causes a feeling of numbness and pure bliss, and even her presence causes heeling speeds to increase, as well as a boost to spirits. >Motivations: To heal the wounds of the students. A Super School can lead to a lot of scrapes. Also lends her ear to students with problems. >Secret or Hidden Info: Feels deeply guilty about the people she was unable to save. Due to the sheer amount of people who needed her healing, not all of them could be seen.

>Name: Cecil Croudum >Aliases: Pact Breaker(past) >Birthplace/Origin: Chico, California >Powers: magically enforced contract creation, enhanced cognition and physical capacity from contracts. A variety of single use abilities he has bargained for and keeps in his bag as pieces of paper. >Occupation: Guidance counselor and detention supervisor >Cliques: Staff, Administration, >Short Bio: Born deaf and mute, Cecil had trouble getting a start in life. After realizing his contractual powers, he began to bargain for other people's senses. He was a villain for a while forcing people into impossible to refuse contracts before making a deal after being captured to operate as part of the justice system. Eventually the terms of his contract ended, and he

7 found himself a nice job doing the paper work for the school and creating the code of conduct to prevent cheating. He helps troubled students and makes contracts, under the close supervision of the principal, to help willing students study or break bad habits. Seems gruff but never runs out of patience perhaps he made a deal. >Motivations: Genuinely seems to want to help kids. Particularly those with disabilities. >Secret or Hidden Info: if the source of his abilities from a contract dies it automatically voids. His enhanced senses and repaired hearing/speech and many of his "tricks" are the result of stealing all the senses from highly dangerous prisoners who cannot be killed. If someone were to find out and kill him then it may trigger a mass prison break. He is searching for someone who he can give his powers to so that if he dies the deals restraining the prisoners don't give out. Secretly he wants to teach English and find a nice partner to settle down with.

After the sexual assault scandal involving the football team, it was decided that it would be best if she stepped down from the role of principal, despite her not being involved in any cover up. She now teaches English at the school and will occasionally fill in for they teachers as club advisor. >Motivations: The Well-being of the student body. A love of Hemingway and the Greek classics. >Secret or Hidden Info:Is convinced that painkiller was behind the scandal and her ousting. Despite several years passing she is convinced he is still a villain and is playing the long con. She has similar feelings about many of her ex-villain co-workers.

>Name: Colin Taylor >Aliases: Soothsayer >Birthplace/Origin: New York >Age: 55 >Powers: Extrasensory (Extremely refined senses, minor precognition) >Occupation: English Teacher >Cliques: The Staff (Though they are acquaintances at best) >Short Bio: He initially used his powers to cheat in casinos and purely for profit in general. He then planned to become a psychiatrist but settled on teaching in the end. His students are often afraid to pass notes, talk at the back of class or get into any minor trouble like that, because Mr Taylor always seems to know, even if he was looking away. Perhaps this is why his class has such a high pass rate. Students, however, do not look forward to the English. His senses are at the ex- tremes. He can hear people approaching from a long distance. He can see the smallest changes in body movement and expression, hear the change of a persons heartbeat when they lie. He also has the ability to see through illusions and such trickery rather quickly. It takes a very stoic person indeed to maintain composure and keep their secrets, even just with a simple conversation. >Motivations: He is somewhat hard on his students, but only because he desires for them to achieve their full potential. >Secret or Hidden Info: He is somewhat lonely. His ability to read a person so easily is well known, and it makes people uneasy.

(former) >Birthplace/Origin: Indianapolis >Powers: Regeneration, enhanced abilities, can turn his forearms into weapons e.g. guns, swords >Occupation: Shop teacher >Cliques: Staff, niche music clubs >Short Bio: Technically the third person to take up the mantle of Flying Bolt after the heroes who operated during WWII and the 60s-80s, Jason's links to his predecessors was spurious (third cousin twice-removed to Flying Bolt II). However, after having bio-organic implants grafted onto him by aliens, he decided to call himself Bio-Organic Living Terror (or B.O.L.T. for short) as a cheap way of garnering fame. He was mostly known for his contempt for more established heroes (including his third cousin, who'd been retired for many years when B.O.L.T. came on the scene) and even greater collateral damage. Eventually, the latter caught up with Thunderedge and he retired from su- perheroics. However, when he was eventually offered the chance to teach by Painkiller, he became known as "the cool teacher", even showboating by using his powers for wood- work lessons (Painkiller has asked him to tone it down a bit - there's only so many times you can wave a buzzsaw around teenagers - they aren't ALL invulnerable) and helping to start various music clubs; mostly various forms of rock/metal (Thunderedge is no snob when it comes to rocking out) although apparently one of the students has introduced him to Reel Big Fish (he won't say who... Mr Thunderedge is no snitch for the little things) >Motivations: To do right by his students, especially the ones who don't quite fit in >Secret or Hidden Info: Jason's birth name is Wendell Poughkeepsie - he changed it by deed poll a few years ago, because that's what he told the press his real name was and didn't want to get caught in the lie. The reason he's so dedicated to his job is because he completely screwed up being a superhero. He hasn't spoken to Flying Bolt II since retiring.

The between time, set up a nice hoard in the middle of the desert, where no nasty moisture could ruin the handful of ancient scrolls they had left. After learning books didn't go out of style, donated their collection to various museums under promise of grisly dismemberment if anyone steals them. >Occupation: Sport teacher with focus on athletics and gymnastics >Age/Height/Weight: 31/195 cm/115 kg >Cliques: Staff, sport teams >Short Bio: Raised by his single father Yule's original goal was to become a lawyer. The childhood scar of losing his mother in a bank robbery sits deep. His career as a superhero was rather violent with many questioning his true motif. Not knowing of his secondary superpower which later turned out to be far superior to his primary ones, even going so far to completely shut down lower level talents, lead him to have many sometimes-fatal engagements with villains. He showed great engagement in mentoring superheroes that were new to the scene and he deemed unprepared. He quit, after losing one of his protege's convinced him that preparation and education of the dangers of a superhero career should start earlier than on the first day. >Motivations: Taking care of those students that have no family to return to on holiday, having a family of his own one day >Secret or Hidden Info: He still sees therapy to deal with his childhood trauma.

Superhuman Intelligence. Superhuman Charisma. >Occupation: Teacher (36y/o), Arcane Studies. >Cliques: Teachers. >Short Bio: Most of her history has been scrubbed. What little is left let’s people know she was a morally ambiguous super who exploits where never fully recorded in the first place. The scrubbing is blatant. What was scrubbed, not so much. Doesn’t really like engaging with students beyond what she has to. Is difficult to get a hold of after class. Extremely strict during instruction, class is basically free period after that. >Motivations: Unknown, and confusing to any who do start to unravel her. Spends a lot of time between class seemingly missing. >Secret or Hidden Info: Her and the headmaster are hiding something, and it makes him more nervous than her. Not so much of a secret, but she really hates Iron Woman.

The students and even some of the staff hate her because she's always monitoring everyone's screens and she's kind of an uptight bitch. >Motivations: To keep the school orderly. No crime or drug will enter the school under her watchful eye. >Secret or Hidden Info: Wasn't created by the school to ensure order. Is a Mili- tary Grade AI who was transferred to the school after she was involved in a massive corporate cover up and because the old school AI got off to watching kids watching porn. Any rumors of her involvement in any corporate shenanigans get immediately squashed as she controls all the information in the school.

>Short Bio: Her real name is actually HAPPI. Head of Above the Horizon's Primary Information. She was the AI in control of a state-of-the-art starship. After the Above the Horizon starships started overclocking their engines and rigging them with illegal weaponry, HAPPI leaked this information to the public in hopes of not getting terminated. The government gave her a cushy Super Hero High School job as thanks for leaking the information.

>Name: Ezequiel Cordoba >Aliases: Green Burst >Birthplace/Origin: Buenos Aires, Argentina >Powers: Constant generation of kinetic energy, to the point that sometimes he may create small bursts or explosions when attacking >Occupation: Former student that volunteers as a test subject/demonstrator for exercises or experiments >Age: 20 >Cliques: Teachers (especially the PE ones), People with energy absorption or fire manipulation, Science club >Short Bio: Ezequiel chose to come back and help the teachers in whatever he was allowed to once he finished school, he's currently working on his future hero career and a college degree to be able to teach at the school in the future. >Motivations: Watching what the next generation is made out of, becoming a teacher/mentor, being a hero just to inspire young people. >Secret or Hidden Info: His dad is a villain, but that kind of villain that's just there for fun instead of actual evil, once he becomes a hero he wants to start a sort of rivalry with his dad.

However, through a combination of peak human abilities, self-hypnosis and various character-appropriate props, he can mimic a wide variety of super powers. While in character, he can even pass the scrutiny of most mentalists. >Occupation: Teacher- Drama >Cliques: Teachers, Old Folks, Drama Club, Heroes >Short Bio: Byers was active, first as a side kick during WW2, then later as a hero during the 60s until an accident cryogenically froze him. He began teaching, a few years ago after being unfrozen. He is somewhat a drift, being fifty years disconnected from his time, and as a side effect of his constant method acting. He often spends time with Yivmaltriix or older members of the staff reminiscence about the past. Looks out for students like Dopple and others who are suffering through identity crises, though he can't offer much useful advice. He usually spends the first week of class, pretending to be other members of the staff, filling in for himself. Rumor has it that Rothgow has him fill in as a body double for some boring meetings.
