A Visit to ‘SAMVAD’ a school for mentally challenged & hearing Impaired Children.

Description of the Activity: A CSR activity was organized by SIBACA on 20 March 2015 where the Student volunteers of MBA along with faculty coordinators Prof Sunita Shah & Prof Archana Borde visited ‘SAMVAD’ A School for mentally challenged & hearing impaired children. The team spent time with the special children, taught those craft items and some songs. A Contribution in the form of Art & Craft Material and some new shirts were given on behalf of SIBACA MBA Students & faculty. It was overall a very heart touching experience.

Description of the Activity: On 14 th March 2016, we conducted the C S R activity in Sai Seva Dham, (School for crippled). The C S R team had 2 faculty members and 20 students. As per our planning we purchased the stationary items that required for the children, & donated it. Stationary included Notebooks, Colours, Pencil boxes, Pens, Compass boxes, Crayons, Crape papers, Craft papers, paint brushes, Geometry boxes etc.
Children showed their potentials and then we donated stationary kits to every student & snacks also served. There are courses like printing, crafting, computer training available for the students and they are preparing bags, cards etc for selling.

Visit Report to SAMPARC-NGO at Malvali
The faculty organizing team and students organizing team visited to SAMPARC-NGO at Malvali for primary discussion. The discussion regarding what actually the Utthan: Haath Se Haath activity is and how it will help to weaker section in around area of Lonavala. We discussed with Principal of Vocational Training Courses of MAMPARC-NGO, Mr. N. R. Joshi about our activity of village adoption and their sponsorship and asked for the permission to conduct this activity on 21/10/2013.

This visit is important for getting the consent and finalization of paper work for the event. In this visit Mr. N. R. Joshi brief us about different course available with SMPARC and how the students and unemployed people will get benefit of these courses at reasonable fees and will get the certificate from Govt. of Maharashtra. After successful completion of this course SMPARC will give them 100% placement guaranty and also assist them for loan process to start their own business to become a self-employed. In this visit we also indentified the village Aundhe for the adoption.

For the event Utthan: Haath Se Haath we identified the Aundhe village to adopt and make some changes and improvement in the village. We discuss with gram sevak and vice-sarpanch of Aundhe about our activity and they show the positive feedback for our activity.
The faculty members and students team visited this village. Firstly we visit the Anna Deshmukh School for the awareness of different courses available for the students and unemployed people of the village because students is the best media to spread this information among villagers. We explained the 10 th std. students regarding this village adoption process and how it will be benefited to the needy people. While focusing on the basic problems of the village we think that education can make the difference to change the mindset of the villagers.

Report on CSR Activity at Kunal Katkari Vidya Mandir, Kunegaon Khandala a Social Welfare Centre
We Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Computer Application, Lonavala conducted CSR activity at Kunal Katkari Vidya Mandir, Kunegaon Khandala a social Welfare centre on 5th Sep, 2015. Forty five students of MBA and two faculty members were participated in the activity. The students of MBA have conducted various fun game activities for fifty students of this school. The school students are from different background.
The institute and students have donated stationary-pen, pencils, chocolates, sweets, ice- creams to the students. Rs. 1050/- is also handover to Head master of the school.

We Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Computer Application, Lonavala conducted Social awareness program malnutrition at Kunal katkari vidya mandir kunegaon khandala on 5th Sep, 2016. Forty five students of MBA and two faculty members were participated in the activity.
The students of MBA guided school students for causes of malnutrition and its effects.

Report on SWACCHTA PAKHWADA
We Sinhgad Institute of Business Administration and Computer Application, Lonavala conducted Swacchta Pakhwada from 1st to 15th September, 2016. The students of MBA cleaned campus area under the Swacchta Pakhwada.

Computer literacy program
The Computer literacy program was conducted by MBA 1st year by visiting Zilla parishad at Tikona fort. Dr. Murlidhar Dhanawade delivered the lecture on computer on computer basics. The activity was conducted on 8 th Sept 2012 at 12 Noon on the occasion of National Literacy day. 7 students were present and participated in the activity. Around twenty five senior citizens and twenty 4th standard students were attended the session.
Dr. R. G. Pawar Director MCA- SIBACA has given the valuable guidance for the function.
