ASKY APPOINTS AVIAREPS AS ITS REPRESENTATIVE IN TEN EUROPEAN MARKETS

(Munich, 16 June 2014) AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 52 offices in 43 countries around the world, has been appointed by the West African based ASKY as its General Sales Agent (GSA) representative in ten European markets including: the Baltic States, Belgium, , Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The appointment was made as the airline seeks to increase its European sales and awareness as an international airline with a touch of , serving and connecting African countries and Africa to the world with excellent quality service. As part of the representation AVIAREPS will act as sales agent for the airline, responsible for the airline’s sales and marketing activities within each of the ten markets.

With an average age of three years, ASKY has the most modern fleet in West and – a fleet which is the pride of Africans. According to ASKY, the appointment of their sales and marketing representative offices in Europe is reflective of the growing importance and their commitment to servicing European travellers with their African network. With the airline’s commitment to provide regular, safe and reliable connections at competitive rates their mission is to become the airline of choice that facilitates business and tourism connections between Africa and Europe.

ASKY's network currently covers 22 destinations (, , , , , , , , Cotonou, , Douala, , , Lagos, , Lome, , Ndjamena, , , Pointe Noire, Yaoundé) in 19 countries of West and Central Africa. ASKY currently operates 174 flights a week on its network with an average of 10,000 passengers per week.

The ASKY network is built around its hub in Lome, the of the . Lome provides a strategic location of being almost halfway between and Central Africa, enabling convenient connections between these two regions.

A key strategic structure of ASKY's network is its connection to that of its strategic partner - . Flight schedules are designed in such a way as to enable quick connections for passengers from Lome to the rest of the world with Ethiopian Airlines.
