RESOLUTION TO VACATE NO. 19-1401253 (California Streets and Highways Code Sections 8324 and 8325)

Vacation of the alley northeasterly of San Fernando Road (Northeast Roadway) from Figueroa Street to its southeasterly terminus.

On April 5, 2017, the City Council considered the evidence submitted regarding said vacation and determined that said public alley should be vacated subject to the conditions of vacation having been complied with, (CF 16-0877). All conditions of the Council’s action have been fulfilled. No public easements are being reserved from this vacation.

Therefore, from all of the evidence submitted, the Council finds that the alley northeasterly of San Fernando Road (Northeast Roadway) from Figueroa Street to its southeasterly terminus proposed for vacation is unnecessary for present or prospective public alley purposes; and

The particular public alley which is to be vacated is described herein attached Exhibits “A” and “B”.

The City Clerk shall certify this Resolution and affix the City seal, and shall transmit a sealed copy of this Resolution to the Land Development and GIS Division of the Bureau of Engineering for recordation in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.

IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that from and after the recordation of this Resolution, the area described hereinabove is vacated. -2-

That portion of a public alley, 15.00 feet wide, located northeasterly of San Fernando Road (Northeast Roadway) and southeasterly of Figueroa Street, adjoining the northeasterly line of Lots 29 to 40, inclusive, as shown on Dayton Avenue Home Tract, in the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 7 Page 69 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county, bounded southwesterly by the northeasterly line of said Lots 29 to 40; bounded northeasterly by the southwesterly line of Lots 28 and 41 of said tract; bounded northwesterly by the southeasterly sideline of Figueroa Street, 80.00 feet wide, as described in the Final Judgment entered in Case No. 85,374 in the Superior Court of the State of California, In and For the County of Los Angeles, a copy of said Judgment recorded January 29, 1915 in Book 6002 Page 8 of Deeds, in said County Recorder’s office; and bounded southeasterly by the northwesterly right-of-way boundary line of Pasadena Freeway Route 110. ____
