Black and White and Bay All Over This year’s ERAHC Virginia Classic Andalusian/Lusitano Region 6 Championship Breed Show was a resounding success, dem- onstrating that last year’s exceptional turnout for ERAHC’s 20th Anniversary was not an anomaly! This year’s turnout exceeded last year’s, with 66 horses in 109 classes. (Now you know why it takes three days.) And we were again privileged to have three ex- cellent judges from the U.S. (Wayne Hipsley), Spain (Mercedes Gonzalez Cort), and Portugal (João Ralão Duarte). Thursday’s Open Dressage Show was also loaded, with both rings running from 8am to almost 5pm. The government may be about to shut down (as I write this, but hopefully resolved by the time you receive this newsletter), but ERAHC is open for business! Okay, enough tooting our own horn.
