MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2018 AT DILHORNE RECEREATION CENTRE at 7.30pm - Present: Cllrs. Verges on side at Boundary crossroads need cutting back as you can’t see down them. – Clerk to speak to Forsbrook Clerk Clerk MINUTES It was resolved that the minutes of the previous month’s meeting were to be signed as a true and correct record. DECLARATION OF None INTEREST REPORTS FROM County Councillor – not present COUNCILLORS ETC District Councillor – nothing to report as no meetings Rec Centre – - not present LENGTHSMAN Bridge at bottom of Godley Lane need cleaning, Clerk to ask Clerk Lengthsman to do this Applications: PLANNING SMD/2018/0441 – Oaklea Kennels, Dilhorne Road – Replacement MATTERS dwelling – OBJECTION consider it to be over development and Clerk inappropriate development, excessively large for the location. Drawings provided do not show clearly what is existing and what is proposed, blue and red dotted lines are confusing. No real indication shown on plan as to location of dwelling in relation to existing kennel buildings. Comment to be made that if application is given approval that a condition for removal of permitted rights is placed on the application for the property. Decisions: none Enforcement: none Appeals: none MATTERS ARISING HIGHWAYS ISSUES: FROM PREVIOUS General Highways Update – MEETINGS Cllr Bateman reported that Village signs need revamping. D Cllr Roberts advised that Safer may be able to help with this. He will provide Clerk with details. Trimpos –Stile on D404 entrance to the fields needs sorting. Clerk to report to SCC Rights of Way. Subject Description Action Grids/drains/pot holes – no report Tickhill – no report Footpaths – apart from above re stile on D404 no other issues raised. Flag Pole – being installed on Thursday 13th September. Once installed Clerk plaque will need to be produced and placed on wall nearby re obtained from SCC and SMDC Councillor Funding grants along with press coverage WW1 Events – No representative from the Rec Centre was present at the meeting so no further information on the events could be given. Clerk advised that she had applied for the Army Covenant Funding for 10 silhouette and if successful these along with the 3 black silhouettes made by Levision Wood would represent the 13 Dilhorne men lost in the Great War. Consideration is to be given to how best to include these names on or near to the war memorial. D. Cllr Roberts advised that there is a grant available for up to £10,000 for items connected with WW1 remembrance and that the Clerk at Draycott has information on this. Clerk Clerk to contact her. UNRESOLVED ITEMS: none NEW BUSINESS New Tree Preservation Order – SM.310 (2018) Fourteen individual trees together with a group of seven holly were given protection under Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation) () regulations 2012. Order is dated 26th July 2018. Clerk to send copy to Audrey Salt from All Saints Church for their Clerk information and to advise that no work at all can be done on any of the trees or holly without prior approval from SMDC. Clerk to ask for confirmation of receipt of the email to ensure that they are aware of the Order. Payments: FINANCE The following payments were approved and signed: - Mrs L Cantlay – Clerks Wages and Expenses – Aug& Sept £399.58 * TOTAL AMOUNT OF PAYMENTS - £399.58 * Paid via Internet Banking that was approved at the meeting prior to payment being made.
