Intermediate arch-braced collar trusses. Dais partition with brattished beam. (There is also a repair phase of 1615d). Rad 1435 /36 & Tan House 30.113 Box-framed 3-bay solar wing with ‘multi-cusped trusses’. SO 316645 (Powys) 1436 Rad 1449 /50 Newchurch Great House 27.108 Oxf Timber-framed. 2 bay hall open cruck truss has arch-braced collar with SO 216506 (Powys) (1) numerous pegs, cusped V-struts at apex. Lower end hall truss tenon- jointed tiebeam & collars, upper end hall truss lap-jointed tiebeam & collars. 3 tiers of trenched side purlins + ridge-purlin. (Also see 1661). Rad 1462 & Presteigne White Hall 30.113 Box-framed 2-bay hall with louvre & 3-bay upper end wing with cusping. SO 314643 (Powys) 1463 Rad 1471 /72 Norton Old Impton 29.129 Oxf Downhill-sited stone-built medieval core of what is now a complex house. SO 292670 (Powys) (2) (For main additions see 1542 /43). Rad 1486 /87 & Evenjobb Old Burfa 29.128 Oxf Cruck-framed hall. (For solar wing see 1502). SO 279613 (Powys) 1487 /88 (3) Rad 1475 -1505 Cefn-ceido 29.128 Oxf Stone & timber-framed. Hall range & S wing. In 2-bay hall open truss the SN 982682 (Powys) (4) cruck-blades are shaped & combined with curved collar to form a semi- circular arch. King post on collar. Closed cruck truss with type 2 apex has post & panel partition, tiebeam & collar halved across blades, packing pieces. 2 tiers of trenched side purlins + ridge purlin. Rad 1491 /92 Lower Hengoed 30.113 Cruck-framed hall house. ‘Arch-braced & quatrefoiled’ central hall truss. SO 266533 (Powys) Rad 1500 /01 & Evenjobb Old Burfa 29.128 Oxf Solar wing. Close-studded with mid-rail, jettied. Knee braces to cranked SO 279613 (Powys) 1502 (5) tiebeam, queen struts, collar, principals, single tier of trenched side purlins + ridge purlin. (For hall see 1488, & for later alterations see 1643 /44). Rad 1522 Llananno Bwlch 27.108 Oxf Stone. 3 unit house with 2-bay hall. Open cruck truss has arch-braced SO 085747 (Powys) (6) collar. Rad 1515 -36 Gladestry Llanhaylow Old 38.137 Oxf (Demolished). Single-bay hall & inner room. This date is for primary cruck SO 208535 (Powys) House phase – 3 pairs of crucks with tiebeams. Rad 1555 & Cwmdeuddwr Nannerth-ganol 27.108 Oxf Stone. Upper end cruck-framed single bay hall, post & panel partition with SN 132429 (Powys) 1555 /56 harr-hung door. Lower end lost. (For inserted floor see 1633). Rad 1555 /56 Nantmel Middle Nant-serth 30.113 3-unit cruck-framed hall house with arch-braced central truss. SN 969699 (Powys) Rad 1545 -75 Gladestry Llanhaylow Old 38.137 Oxf (Demolished). Secondary cruck phase. (For 1st phase see 1515 -36). SO 208535 (Powys) House Rad 1565 + Beguildy Bryndraenog 11.34 Sh Post of a cruck hall. SO 204783 (Powys) Rad 1580 -1610 Llanfaredd Neuadd-fach 49.135 MW The 2 dated cruck trusses may have defined a long-house byre.
