Lombok
Lombok is an island in the West Nusa Tenggara Province (Nusa Tenggara Barat) and is located between Bali and Sumbawa Island in the eastern part of Indonesia. The population of Lombok is about 3.5 million, and the majority (85%) is Sasak and practice Islam. Their name derives from a type of bamboo raft (sesek), on which they arrived from East Java in the 16th century.
Hindus, Christians and Buddhist make up the rest. Approximately, 85,000 Balinese live in Lombok - mainly in the west of Lombok. Lombok's capital, Mataram is a sprawl of several (once separate) towns with fuzzy borders: Ampenan (the port); Mataram (the administrative centre); Cakranegara (the business centre, often called simply 'Cakra') and Bertais and Sweta to the east, where you'll find the bus terminal. Stretching for 12km from east to west it is home to half a million people. The more developed tourist resort of Senggigi is close by.
Bali
Bali, one of the smaller islands in Indonesia, has been described by many different names - The Hidden Paradise, The Last Paradise on Earth, Morning of The World, Island of Gods, The Island of a Thousand Temples, the Emerald Isle of Asia and Island of the Smiling People. Sekotong
Sekotong is a small settlement on the western peninsular of southern Lombok. As the village is not a major tourism destination, the locals are extremely friendly. Only a few eateries are available in the town. The beaches surrounding Sekotong are mainly deserted and ideal for travellers that seek some privacy and to be away from the busy cities. Sekotong is the gateway to some of the Gillies that lie off the coast. Gili Nanggu and Gili Asahan are worth the visit from Sekotong.
Why Sekotong?
As Sekotong is not yet very developed it makes it a good place to distance yourself from the crowds. There are nice accommodation options available which are far away from the crowds and allow a great starting and relaxing point to start a wonderful tour.
Tetebatu
Laced with spring-fed streams and canals, springled with traditional villages and blessed with rich soal, Tetebatu is a Sasak Breadbasket. The surrounding countryside is quilted with tobacco and rice fields. Cows roam the fields surrounded by monkey forests home to wonderful waterfalls. Located at the lower slopes of Mount Rinjani, the temperature here is mild.
Why Tetebatu? Tetebatu is a remote destination where social distancing can be applied easily. The accommodation is in separate bungalows, no big buildings in this place. Excursions can be made from here to places in the nature, without using or limited use of car transportation. Senggigi
Lombok’s most developed tourist area is Senggigi. An extensive choice of restaurants, bars and other entertainment facilities is available. Approximately three kilometres from Senggigi lies the Kerandangan Nature Reserve with its many trails. Quiet beaches lie just north of the city. Boat trips to the northern Gillis takes one on a scenic ride along the west Lombok Coastline. A small but scenic Hindu temple called Pura Batu Bolong lies just two kilometres south of the town.

Ubud
Ubud is a remarkable town in the middle of the island. For over a century, it has been Bali’s centre for the fine arts, dance and music. Many world-famous people are seen walking the busy streets. Various elegant villas can be found in its outskirts, overlooking some of the most stunning views in the whole province. Sanur
Wedged in between the busier Denpasar in the west and the ocean in the east, Sanur is Bali’s compromise of the bustling south and tranquil north. Sanur has a wide variety of restaurants and bars that are owned by locals or foreigners. The beach on the east coast might be thin but is beautifully white with stunning reef and breakwaters for safe entertainment. Sanur is laidback and rich in arts and cultures. The area is a wonderful destination for families, with a peaceful pathway along the white sandy beach.

Day 2 Sekotong Saturday January 2 2021
Explore the islands of Lombok South-West in an island hopping trip with charterred boat. Your visit will be to Gili Kedis (Honeymoon Island), Gili Sudak/Gili Tangkong, and Gili Nanggu.
Starting from Cocotinos Resort we will drive heading East to Tawun Beach, where you will meet with your boat for the island trip to Gili Kedis, Gili Sudak, and Gili Nanggu. Arriving at Tawun Beach we will get the outrigger boat and for those with no snorkeling gears ready may hire the stuffs from the local dive shop here. The boat will be completed with life-vests. Our boat trip begin and first we will head to Gili Kedis, the smallest islet to be found nearby. This islet is also called the Honeymooners Island as it’s totally secluded by waters with no people around but you and your boat crues. This place has nice snorkeling locations with corals and colorful fish. Further visit to Gili Kedis of the Honeymooners' Island. You will enjoy your day here until the lunch time. If you need a total privacy you may request to be dropped here and be picked up at the lunch time. Next we will continue the boat trip to Gili Sudak, where we will have barbeque lunch. You may chose your own fish from the restaurant stock of the day and join the barbeque with the chef. Soup, vegetables, rice/fried potatoes will also be provided. After lunch we will visit Gili Nanggu, a private gili where we can find holiday cottages for those taking an overnight visit. This gili offers nice swim and snorkel too, and we will complete our island hopping trip here in the afternoon in time to get our boat back to Tawun Beach. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Why this excursion? We can arrange for a private boat. When you bring your own snorkel it will be a great worry free day out. Snorkeling is a good activity to obtain social distancing.

Day 4 Sekotong - Tetebatu Monday January 4 2021
Today’s program will bring you to the rural area of Lombok. The location is in the central part of Lombok. It is mainly a farming area. You will be welcomed in the village and learn about the English camp and lessons that are part of the village development by the youth organization. Your guide will be a student from the English learning program. After that get on a bike around the rice fields for about 1 hour, and enjoy the panoramic views. You will have lunch at a lovely spot in the village and enjoy home-cooked meals that will give you a taste of the specialties of Lombok traditional food. The last part of the program is with the women of the village that will introduce you to their creations of local cakes and snacks made of flour from the locally grown potatoes or sticky rice.
After this experience, you will continue to Tetebatu.

Optional excursion: Senggigi - Explore Mataram City in Biking Trip
Our biking trip begins from your hotel in Senggigi area and ride South following the main road Pure Segara (where we can see local fishing boats line the beach), on to Ampenan (old harbor town with abandoned port and remaining colonial buildings). We will continue riding on the main road through the vicinity of Mataram, Cakranegara, and stop at Mayura (the royal courtroom of former Hindu Lords). After Mayura we head on to Sweta and stop at Mandalika Public Market (see the locals sell and buy daily needs such spices, rice, vegetables, fish, meat, etc.). Next, we will leave the city area and visit several interesting places on the outskirt of Mataram. We will visit Narmada (a summer palace that was built as the replica of Rinjani Volcano for ritual porposes), Suranadi (a mountain resort with holy spring waters), and Lingsar (the holiest & oldest Hindu shrine and with a place called 'kemalik' that is sacred for some sasak people). Your biking trip will end in Lingsar, jump in the van and be tranferred back to your hotel in Senggigi area for rest and relax.

Jatiluwih Jatiluwih is a favorite tourist destination in Bali and is famous with the beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the foot of mountain until the coastal side. Surrounded by cool atmosphere due to the elevation about sea level of 700. It is one of places to visit in Bali for its beauty, which is not a surprise as the name literally means “Really Beautiful” Jati, and luwih, where Jati means really and Luwih means beautiful.
Ulundanu Temple Ulundanu Temple / Beratan Lake Ulun Danu Temple is a Balinese Hindu Temple located at Candi Kuning countryside, Baturiti sub district and Tabanan regency. Sitting on the edge of Lake Beratan and covered by cool weather with beautiful lake views and hills around encapsulating it, the temple is a much sought-after destination for people visiting Bali.
Banyumala Twin Waterfall Banyumala Twin Waterfall is located at Wanagiri Village, Buleleng, Bali. There’s no known origin why locals name the waterfall ‘Banyu Mala’. Banyu means ‘water’ while ‘Mala’ means ‘dirty’. Combined, ‘dirty water’ is really not a fitting name for this scenic waterfall.

Day 10 Ubud, Spiritual Tour Sunday January 10 2021
Today you will see the spiritual sight of Bali in depth. The tour will start by going to Sebatu temple. You will be dressed in the proper Balinese temple attire by your guide. Your guide will explain about the offering and the way of making the prayer before you will have the opportunity to take the holy bath to purify yourself. From here you will go to Gunung Kawi you will see the beautiful rice fields and the carved facade dating back to the 11th century. They are called the Kings tombs, commemorating the Udayana Kingdom. The guide will lead you on small rice field paths surrounding the complex. If you want to do the Balinese praying, your guide will bring you to their house temple, and teach you how to do the praying. You will be served a lunch at the garden of the foundation amidst the rice fields. After lunch you will be brought back to the accommodation.

Today you will go from Ubud to Sanur. A private car with driver is available for this trip. Along the way, you will visit Beji Guwang Waterfall.
Beji Guwang This is a beautifully fascinating canyon half way between Ubud and Sanur. A river runs through the canyon that through thousands of years of erosion created stunning patterns in the stonewalls that encase it. This display of natural artistry is awe inspiring and amazes everyone who decides to venture in and explore. The walk through can be relatively challenging as the path is quite rocky and slippery and for some sections of the walk visitors will submerged in water up to one meter in depth. A spare change of clothes and an adventurous spirit are required for this particular activity.
