PASSING… DATES TO REMEMBER Dr. James E. McIntosh, former director Harlem Village - Sunday 8/19/2012 of the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Harlem Hospital Center. Upcoming Walks Percy Sutton 5K Run From 1969 at Sydenham Hospital to Family Walk - Saturday, 8/25/12 Harlem Hospital in 1984 and retiring in 1999, Dr. McIntosh made his mark on Step Out (Diabetes) - Sunday, 9/16/12 the Harlem community. In 1988, with the Columbia University School of Dental and Brides March - Wednesday, 9/26/12 Oral Surgery, he started the minority (Domestic Violence) specialty program. During his career Dr. McIntosh trained over a hundred minority general dentists who mostly returned to underserved areas of the country to practice.

The Dental Clinic at Harlem Hospital will be renamed the James Edward McIntosh, DDS, Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
