SECURING OUR BAYIT As we head into 2019, we are asking the community to support the increased costs of securing our Bayit. Most of the work these past few years has been funded by grants from the Dep't of Homeland Security and staffed with countless volunteer hours from members of our Community Security Service (CSS) team with limited use of general shul funds. However, grants and volunteers cannot do everything. We need your support, mostly for paid security on Friday night and to supplement the CSS team on Shabbat morning, but also for supplies and equipment that are not covered by the grant programs. We estimate that our increased costs relating to security will be approximately $36,000. As the Bayit has not historically imposed assessments on its members, we are hoping to raise the needed amount through voluntary contributions. Thank you in advance for your support. Visit www.thebayit.org/security to make your pledge today.
