Welcome to Saint Barnabas Church Founded in 1869, Saint Barnabas is a parish of the Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter. The Ordinariate was established in 2012 by Benedict XVI in order to preserve elements of the Anglican tradition within the . The parish entered the Catholic Church in 2013. Mass is celebrated using Divine Worship, the Vatican-promulgated Missal also known as the Ordinariate or liturgy. All Catholics may fulfill their Mass obligation on Sundays and holydays at Saint Barnabas. Catholics in with the of may receive Holy Communion at our Masses. Confessions are heard beginning 25 minutes before Mass at the rear of the church.

 SAINT BARNABAS SESQUICENTENNIAL 2019 We are celebrating the one hundred fiftieth anniversary of the founding of Saint Barnabas Parish in 1869. Our year of special events began with the observance of the Chair of Unity Octave, also known as the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25). The culmination of these sesquicentennial events will be the Feast of Saint Barnabas, to be observed Sunday, June 16 with Solemn Pontifical Mass celebrated by our Ordinary, Bishop Steven J. Lopes.
