Whereas it is necessary in the interest of public safety and convenience to facilitate the construction of passage of East Bound Tunnel for Kolkata East West Metro project undertaken by Rail Corporation Limited, I, Anuj Sharma, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, in exercise of power vested in me under section 115,116,117,122 and 126 of M. V. Act, 1988, Section 62, 62(lB) of Calcutta Police Act. 1866, 39, 39 (1B) of Calcutta Subn. Police Act 1866 read with Rule No. 85,86,87, 88 and 93 of the Rules for the Regulation of Traffic in Kolkata and its suburbs and under Sub-Section (1) of Section 4 of the West Bengal Traffic Regulation Act, 1965(W.B. Act XV of 1965) read with Govt. of West Bengal Home (Transport) Dept. order No. 7605-WT, dated 20th July, 1965 and Govt. of West Bengal in Transport Dept. Notification No. 3363- WT/3M/34/99 dated the 29th April’ 1999, do hereby order that vehicle circulation pattern along Flyover and its adjoining roads/ streets for traffic closure of a portion of Sealdah Flyover in between its crossing with M G Road and Road from 06.00 Hrs. on 02.10.2020 to 06.00 Hrs. on 05.10.2020 will be made in the following manners:-

 Movement of Tram cars along APC Road, M G Road, , , N C Street, Lenin Sarani and Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road will be suspended / restricted from 00:00 hrs. on 02.10.2020 to 06:00 hrs. on 05.10.2020.  Sealdah Station bound vehicles coming from South via A J C Bose Road will avail normal route i.e., A J C Bose Road – Southern Slope of Sealdah Flyover – Beliaghata Road – Sealdah Station Complex.  Sealdah Station bound vehicles coming from North via A P C Road will be diverted from Rajabazar Crossing to avail Main Road – Crossing – R L Mitra Road - Beliaghata Main Road – Sealdah Station Complex.  North bound Buses/Mini Buses along AJC Bose Road, having terminus at Rajabazar, will be terminated temporarily at AJC Bose Road near NRS Hospital (Rt-12, 12/1,21,21/1, S-178, K6, 204/1).  East bound Buses/Mini Buses along M G Road, having terminus point at Beliaghata Road near Barafkal, will be terminated at APC Road near Rajaabazar Tram Depot (Rt-28).  East bound Buses and Mini Buses along M G Road, having terminating point at Beliaghata or further East, to be diverted via APC Road - Narkeldanga Main Road for their destination and will return back via Narkeldanga Main Road - APC Road - M G Road for their westward journey.  South bound Buses/Mini Buses along APC Road, having terminating point further south of Moulali, to be diverted from Manicktala Crossing via - - B B Ganguly – N C Street – Lenin Sarani or from APC Road/ M G Road crossing on Sealdah Flyover via M G Road.  North bound Buses/Mini Buses of AJC Bose Road, having terminating point further North of Manicktaala crossing, to be diverted from Moulali crossing towards S N Banerjee Road - Dorina Crossing – C R Avenue - then Colootola Street or Vivekananda Road.  East bound Buses/Mini Buses along Lenin Sarani, having terminating point further North or East of Manicktala crossing, to be diverted primarily from Esplanade Crossing towards C R Avenue to avail Colootola Street or Vivekananda Road.  West bound Buses/Mini Buses along Beliaghata Road, having terminating point towards North of Rajabazar crossing, will be diverted from Beliaghata Road & CIT Road crossing towards North via Phoolbagan Crossing – Crossing – Manicktala Main Road – Manicktala Crossing – A P C Road or via Phoolbagan Crossing –Narkeldanga Main Road - Rajabazar Crossing – A P C Road.  North bound Buses/Mini Buses along CIT Road, having terminating point further North of Manicktala Crossing, to be diverted from Moulali Crossing towards S N Banerjee Road - Dorina Crossing – C R Avenue - then Colootola Street or Vivekananda Road.  No Parking restriction will be imposed from 02.10.2020 to 05.10.2020 on the both sides of the following roads:- a) Amherst Street (b) B.B Ganguly Street (c) College Street (d) N.C Street (e) S.N. Benerjee Road. (f) Creek Row. (g) M G Road.  Following Roads / stretch of the roads to be made one way for round the clock from o6.00 hrs. on 02.10.2020 to 06.00 hrs. on 05.10.2020 or until withdrawal of road closure on Sealdah Flyover. a) Ram Mohan Sarani (Amherst St) from North to South. b) B.B Gangully Street (from Amherst Street to C.R Avenue) from East to West. c) Nirmal Chandra Street from North to South, d) College Street and Bidhan Sarani from South to North.  All kinds of south bound vehicles along APC Road will be primarily diverted from APC Road & M G Road crossing on Sealdah Flyover, secondarily Rajabazar crossing towards East via Narkeldanga Main Road - Canal East Road, thirdly from Manicktala Crossing via Vivekananda Road - Amherst St - B B Ganguly St/ N C Street and lastly from 5 Point crossing towards Bhupen Bose Avenue - C R Avenue.  All kinds of North bound small vehicles along AJC Bose Road will be diverted primarily from Moulali crossing towards S N Banerjee Road then Dorina Crossing – C R Avenue – Colootola Street/ Vivekananda Road, secondarily from Exide More/Rabindra Sadan crossing towards J L Nehru Road - Central Avenue.  South bound Heavy Goods Vehicles and Trailers of A P C Road will be diverted from Shyambazar 5 Point Crossing via Bhupen Bose Road – C R Avenue.  South bound Medium & Light Goods Vehicles of A P C Road will be diverted from Manicktala Crossing via Vivekananda Road – C R Avenue.  North bound all types of goods vehicle of A J C Bose Road will be diverted from Moulali Crossing via S N Banerjee Road – Dorina Crossing – C R Avenue or from Exide/Rabindra Sadan Crossing via J L Nehru Road - C R Avenue.  Vehicular traffic may also be diverted from any of the arterial and feeder roads by traffic police on duty as and when considered necessary.  These regulations will be enforced in addition to the other normal restrictions on these days which are not repugnant to the above. This will come into force from 06.00 Hrs. on 02.10.2020 to 06.00 hrs. on 05.10.2020.
