DUE BY: Name:______Date:______Sun., Apr . 11 th 2021 CONFIRMATION REPORT Saint Kilian Church - Year 2 Confirmation Part of the process of preparing for Confirmation is choosing a saint that has particular meaning for you. are people who have lived their life in a way that glorified God, and gave us an example of how to show Christ’s love on Earth. As Catholics, we believe that the saints are united with us through prayer. Just as you might ask a friend or a parent to pray for you, you can also ask a saint (who’s already in Heaven) to pray for you, too! Your Confirmation Saint is someone that will have that connection with you throughout your life---not just in high school. Over the next few months, take some time and do research on saints. You can look in , online, or in the Bible. Then, fill out this form telling me about them and why you chose that particular saint. Here are some great resources for you: Saint Archives: http://www.catholic.org/saints/ and http://www.catholic-saints.info/ Catholic Websites: www.lifeteen.com (search: Saints) and http://www.newadvent.org/ Don’t simply choose a saint just because they have the same name as you. Give it some thought and make it meaningful!
