I look forward to reading more of your work! I loved the interactions between her and these non-human characters, especially her grandfather, and the sassy turtle in the hospital. The Minnow is a story of grief, loss and one young girl learning to heal. It is poignant, and I ate up every word. A lot of the book also deals with the police investigating a suddenly MIA Bill for a crime that's never explained. A flood devas.
