DECT VOICE AND M6 MODULE

The DECT M6 Radio Module enables a simultaneous and voice communication between one (fixed part, FP) and one or more mobile stations (portable part, PP) using exclusively assigned frequency bands. It is designed as compliance tested OEM-module for integration into end products. The radio module can also be a reference platform for customer-specific product development. System features, interfaces and mechanical design can be customized on demand. For test purposes, an evaluation-kit is available. Ready-to-use modules with standard functionality can be obtained from our production partner company. The utilization of the radio module technology may be licensed for development or manufacturing of proprietary solutions.

System Features

– Flexible network functionality: Up to 5 simultaneous duplex voice-/data links at one base station – Optimized for error-protected data transmission with minimized delay times (over V.24) – Deterministic data transmission with constant delay and guaranteed throughput for time critical applications or streaming (over SSI) – Synchronization of base station modules for enhanced system capacity and avoidance of the near-far problem – Voice conferences with up to five participants on one FP; by connecting several FPs, full digital conferences with up to 15 users are possible – Channel aggregation for transmission rates up to 128 kBit/s (transparent) resp. 96 kBit/s (protected) or for higher data integrity by redundancy

– Automatic selection also at the mobile station (patented) for optimum reception even under difficult conditions; fast antenna diversity (FAD) minimizes reception errors in in-door environments – Encryption of voice-communication possible (DECT Standard Cipher, 64 key length) – Selected GAP-features (Generic Access Profile) supported – Available software interfaces: AT- or DHCI (DECT Host Controller Interface) – On-air-subscription: Registration of up to 5 mobile stations to one base station via air or data interface (capability for more mobile stations on request) – Locate database at the FP (DHCI only): about actually available clients – Loudspeaker and microphone can be connected directly – Connection via 40-pin connector with 2 mm pitch – The M6 hard- and software complies to EN 301 406, EN 301 489 and FCC Part 15.301ff (on request)
