The Government of Cameroon has received fmancing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Grassfield Support Project for Rural Infrastructures and Participatory Development (GRASSFIELD II), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan/ grant to payments under the contract for the consultancy services to carryout detailed studies road infrastructures within the frame work of the project for the development of agricultural value chain (DPAVC) in five Regions namely Litorial, Centre, East, South and South West Regions

The services included under this project are divided into five lots as follows:

Lot 1: total length of roads 349km in Moungo Division, Litorial Region

Lot 2: total length of roads 294km in Litorial Region (Sanaga maritime 204km, Nkam 90km)

Lot 3: total length of roads 342km in Centre Region (Mefou et Afamba 93km, Nyoung et Kelle 146km, Mbam et Kim 66km, Lekie 37km)

Lot 4: total length of roads 234.1km in South West (Diang 160km, Meme 44.6km, Fako 8km, Coupe Manengouba 21.5km)

Lot 5: total length of roads 274km in East Region (Lom et Djerem 84km, Kadey 80km) and South Region (Dja et Lobo 48km, Mvila 62km)

Consultants can express their interest in all the lots but shall be shortlisted only for one lot. Therefore consultants should indicate their priority lot

The duration of the assignment shall be three (3) months for each lot.

The Grassfield Support Project for Rural Infrastructures and Participatory Development (GRASSFIELD II) as Implementation Unit now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” (May 2008 Edition, Revised July 2012), which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
