INTRODUCTION

This publication, the thirty -fifth annual edition of the directory of officials and organizations concerned with wildlife protection, 1 is intended to meet the needs of officials charged with the administra- tion and enforcement of game laws, and for the convenient use of persons desiring to communicate with officials and organizations con- cerning wildlife conditions throughout the United States and Can- ada. The directory follows the same general form of previous edi- tions, and includes only those organizations that are national or State-wide in character. Communications concerning violations of Federal game laws should be addressed to the regional directors of the Bureau of Biological Survey in the several areas. The States embraced in the regions

, supervised by these directors are as follows No. 1 {Pacific Region).—Washington, Oregon, California, and Nevada. No. 2 (Mountain-Plains Region).—Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska. No. 3 (Southwestern Region).—Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
