The Downtown Detroit Parks + Public spaces are at the forefront of Detroit’s transformation through innovative programming. The vibrant constellation of award-winning and walkable urban parks in the heart of Downtown Detroit are managed, programmed, and operated by The Downtown Detroit Partnership - a nonprofit organization that creates and preserves world-class public spaces.
In 2020, DDP received the Downtown Achievement Award of Excellence in Public Space Management from the International Downtown Association (IDA) and in 2021, Campus Martius Park was honored as “Top Public Square” by USA Today.
