This year in Jalna, Marathwada, ICT has also opened its off-campus with intake of 60 students. ICT-Mumbai, through its Bhubaneswar, campus aims to create an environment that shall foster the growth of intellectually capable, innovative and entrepreneurial professionals, who shall contribute to the growth of Science and Technology in partnership with industry and develop and harness it for the welfare of the nation and mankind. I am happy that ICT Mumbai, and Indian Oil Corporation have joined hands to set up a world-class Centre of Excellence in Chemical Engineering and Technology at Bhubaneswar to catalyse the structured growth of industries in Odisha in diverse sectors such as petrochemicals, chemicals, polymers, textiles & fibres. ICT-IOC Bhubaneswar embarks on the journey of creating the wealth from chemicals and materials. The next wave of entrepreneurs will come from Eastern part of India. Executive M.Tech. Course in Chemical Engg. The executive M.Tech. programme in Chemical Engg. is an industry-sponsored 2-year programme for working professionals. The syllabus has been jointly developed by ICT-IOC, Bhubaneswar in partnership with IIT, Kharagpur and leading industries. Captains including Risk assessment and Process Safety Experts: Prof. Damodar (Ex. Director, IIT KGP and Chairman, AICTE), Dr. R.P. Verma (Former Head, R&D Hydrocarbon Sector, IOCL), Prof. Gargi Das (Head, Chemical, IIT KGP), Prof. A. W. Patwardhan (Head, Chemical Engineering, ICT) and other domain experts are personally involved with the course design. The flexible course content has been developed after deliberating upon various options; keeping in view expectations of industry by the pooled expertise. The Executives will get joint Degree from IIT-KGP and ICT after successful completion of the programme. Involvement of expert faculties will benefit even in addressing issues related field for opinion suggestions. Total No. of Seats: 30

Duration: 2 Years yy The course is designed for a duration of 2 years or 8 quarters. yy Each quarter shall be of 3 months. yy Each quarter shall consist 1-month class-room learning followed by 2-months project/research work at their parent organization.

Eligibility: yy Working professionals from industry with a minimum of 3 years of industrial experience with a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Polymer/Petroleum/Biotechnology/Food Technology. yy Candidate should have minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in qualifying examination.
