Kindly refer to D.O. letter no.32/PSO/FS/2015 dated 28.10.2015 on the subject cited above (enclosed herewith) received from Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.

2. In this regard, I am directed to state that the funding pattern of Mid Day Meal Scheme will be shared in the ratio of 60:40 between Centre and the States; except that it will be 90:10 for 8 North-Eastern States and 3 Himalayan States and 100% central funding for the UTs w.eJ. 01.04.2015.

5. For Union Territories, the Centrally Sponsored Schemes will b ~ funded 100· percent by the Central Government. However,. schemes that will be Implemented in a particular Union Territor' will be decided by the Central Government in consultation witt the administration of the Union Territory concerned.

6. Expenditure on all schemes In the financial year 2015-16 will bE limited· to the ·budgetary resources made available through t!J.l=,~",-: BudgetaryEstimate and the Supplementary Budgets during thi~· . course of the year.
