Cathedral de San Juan Bautista "A Minor Bascilica"

Located on Calle Cristo, this cathedral is the must-see attraction of the San Juan Archdiocese. It was built in 1540 and has been restored several times since. Declared an official Minor Basilica by the Vatican in Rome, the cathedral is on most walking tours in and around . Plaza del Quinto Centenario "Historic Plaza"

This plaza, built in 1992 for the commemorate the Fifth Centenary of the discovery of America, extends from the San José Church and the rebuilt Ballajá Barracks. The Tótem Telúrico, an impressive, contemporary sculpture made by the local artist Jaime Suárez graces its center. The Plaza provides an excellent view of the El Morro grounds, the old San by MusikAnimal Juan cemetery, and the . Teenagers can be found at the plaza, on weekends, skating and having fun; while, tourists like it as a place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Castillo San Felipe del Morro "A National Historic Site"

With a history that dates back 500 years, this stone structure truly deserves its place of honor in the National Historic Register. The English and the Dutch attacked El Morro or Castillo San Felipe del Morro repeatedly in its time. Located on the San Juan Bay, the six-story fort was originally constructed in 1540, although its exterior walls were not erected by Jaro Nemčok for another 200 years. Inside the walls is a veritable labyrinth of chambers, barracks, hallways and prison cells. The fort was given a complete makeover in 1992.

San Juan Bay "Sitting by the Dock of the Bay"

The San Juan Bay is the busiest ocean port in the Caribbean bringing a good percentage of the region's trade and over one million visitors a year on cruise ships. The bayside shops carry everything from gold jewelery to island arts and crafts. It can best be viewed from the pier area in Old San Juan, or from the romantic Paseo de la Princesa, or from El Morro.
