The Credit Union was set up in 2009 in with just a few hundred pounds of savings. Since then it has grown to cover the whole of . Today we have 3000 Members and £1.2M of savings.

We only had one Collection Point at the start and now we have 24 and the Members are borrowing £560,000. Today we have an online website www.ploughandshare.co.uk where all documents can be downloaded and Members can check their balances. If you prefer you can visit a Collection Point, ours is in the Amory Centre on Thursday Morning from 10am to 12noon.

Members can Save regularly, from as little as a £1 per week, and Borrow, the only cri- teria for borrowing is, can you afford to pay back the loan.
