Employee Network

Click the links below for steps to connect to the employee :

- iPad, iPhone, Android  DISTRICT  NON-DISTRICT LAPTOP

Note: The employee wireless network is only available at SAC, SCC, DO, CEC, OEC, or other location.

To connect using a MOBILE DEVICE:

iOS Users (iPad & iPhone)

1. Please select the RSCCD.ORG wireless network from the list of available networks under Wi-Fi settings.

2. Enter your RSCCD user ID and password and click Join.

3. You will receive a notification about an invalid certificate. Please click Accept.

NOTE: Once logged onto the RSCCD wireless network, the mobile device will only have access to the . To access district applications, employees will need to log onto the remote site located at: http://remote.rsccd.edu

Android OS Users

1. Please select the RSCCD.ORG wireless network from the list of available networks under Wi-Fi settings.

2. Enter your RSCCD user ID into the Identity field and your password in the Password field and then click Connect. You might be required to enter a Domain, which is rsccd.org. See below.

NOTE: Once logged onto the RSCCD wireless network, the mobile device will only have access to the Internet. To access district applications, employees will need to log onto the remote site located at: http://remote.rsccd.edu

To connect using a DISTRICT LAPTOP:

1. Ensure the wireless switch on the laptop is turned on. On older devices, this will be a physical switch on the side or front of the . On newer systems, you’ll need to press the Function key (FN) plus F2 (or whichever F key has the wireless icon for your system).

2. Once you verify the wireless adapter is on, the district laptop will connect and automatically log in based on the credentials you provided when logging into Windows and you should see the following message:

When logged onto the RSCCD wireless network using a current employee user ID and password, the district-issued laptop will have full access to all district applications and private directories (Outlook, Colleague/Datatel, H Drive, etc.) as if it were hardwired into the network. 4. If you are having trouble with connecting your district laptop to the wireless network, please contact the Help Desk so we can resolve the issue.

To connect using a NON-DISTRICT LAPTOP:

1. RSCCD employees should select the RSCCD.ORG wireless network. This is the same at all district sites.

2. Log into the RSCCD.ORG network using your current employee ID and password. Click OK to complete the process.

3. If you encounter the error seen below, please click Connect.

NOTE: Once logged onto the RSCCD wireless network, the non-district laptop will only have access to the Internet. To access district applications, employees will need to log onto the remote site located at: http://remote.rsccd.edu
