Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended) Regulation 16 Notification and Consultation Relating to the submission of Neighbourhood Plan Proposal Neighbourhood Plan

Notice is hereby given that Winkleigh Parish Council, as the relevant qualifying body, has submitted the Winkleigh Neighbourhood Plan proposal to Council in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

The Winkleigh Neighbourhood Plan establishes a vision for the evolution and long-term sustainability of Winkleigh and provides policies and proposals to guide development within the designated area over the period up to 2031.

In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), representations on the neighbourhood plan are invited from interested parties during the period from Thursday 19th March until Thursday 30th April 2020. Late representations will not be accepted.

Torridge District Council have extended the Winkleigh Neighbourhood Plan consultation by 2 weeks. The consultation on the Plan will now end at midday on Thursday 14th May 2020.

The neighbourhood plan and supporting documentation can be inspected throughout the period set out above:

A representation may include a request to be notified of the local planning authority's decision on whether to make (adopt) the neighbourhood plan.

Any personal information submitted as part of the consultation will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Data Protection Act 2018, with further information available at: https://www.torridge.gov.uk/privacypolicy. The information collected as part of this consultation is to support the process of neighbourhood planning, with the lawful bases for processing personal information being legal obligation and public task.

Representations received as part of the consultation cannot be treated confidentially, will be passed to the person appointed to examine the neighbourhood plan and may be made publically available via the Council’s website and consultation portal.
