Dado el pasado geologic° y las caracteristicas de sus aguas, es a nuestro juicio el Mar dulce de Solis un Mar en decadencia, que minno perdiO esa jerarquia. Complejo en su constituciOn oceano- grafica y batilitolOgica y con marcada escasez de vegetales y ani- males exclusivos. Es un Mar Intracontinental, sin la salazOn del Atlantic°, ni la dulzura de las aguas de un rio, geograficamente muy abierto pero con limites bien determinados en sus propias caracteriaticas. The sign or "target" for pages apparently lacking from the document photographed is "Missing Page(s)". If it was possible to obtain the missing page(s) or section, they are spliced into the film along with adjacent pages. This may have necessitated cutting thru an image and duplicating adjacent pages to insure you complete continuity. 2. When an image on the film is obliterated with a large round black mark, it is an indication that the photographer suspected that the copy may have moved during exposure and thus cause a blurred image. You will find a good image of the page in the adjacent frame. 3. When a map, drawing or chart, etc., was part of the material being photographed the photographer followed a definite method in "sectioning" the material. It is customary to begin photoing at the upper left hand comer of a large sheet and to continue photoing from left to right in equal sections with a small overlap. If necessary, sectioning is continued again — beginning below the first row and continuing on until complete. 4. The majority of users indicate that the textual content is of greatest value, however, a somewhat higher quality reproduction could be made from "photographs" if essential to the understanding of the dissertation.

Mediado por el cambio tecnológico y la difusión masiva, el tango electrónico ha suscitado un intenso debate acerca de su “au- tenticidad”, su calidad artística y sus pretensiones ideológico-políticas, controversias que se agudizaron cuando inició su incorporación en algunos espacios de baile hasta que decayó su novedad en forma paulatina. En efecto, el tango electrónico encontró en los bailarines interesados en distanciarse del canon un público con el cual dialogar, al poner en escena las estrechas relaciones de sentido entre cuerpos y músicas. A partir del análisis de la producción musical y audiovisual y las descalificaciones de las que ha sido objeto, especialmente en el mundo del tango tradicional, este trabajo aborda cómo se encontró en el baile un ámbito de exploración estética, lo que reafirma a su vez las transgresiones corporales, el protagonismo femenino y las inflexiones en la norma heterosexual del tango histórico. (1980-2010) RESUMEN El presente trabajo pretende elaborar un recorrido paisajístico de la ciudad de Montevideo, en los últimos 30 años, a través de las imágenes presentes en las canciones populares que tienen como tema explícito dicha ciudad. Este recorrido que no es secuencial -ni una sucesión de “postales de la ciudad”-, sino conceptual; nos hace transitar por el Montevideo de los paisajes perdidos y añorados, y por el de los paisajes diversos que se observan y recorren. Se ha elegido como herramienta de análisis a las canciones que tienen como tema a la ciudad, reconociéndolas como mediaciones entre el paisaje montevideano y la construcción de su imaginario colectivo. El canto popular ha tenido un rol histórico en el Uruguay, durante la década del ’70 como movimiento artístico-cultural de resistencia a la dictadura en el exilio, y en los años posteriores a 1980, como protagonista de la cultura uruguaya en la reconstrucción de la identidad del país democrático y postdictadura.
