MONROE COUNTY SHERIFF’S INVESTIGATORS CHARGE GREECE MAN WITH STEALING MULTIPLE FIREARMS, WEAPONS, AMMUNITION, DRUGS Stolen Glock linked to Chinappi’s Gun Shop; Stolen handgun linked to Lyell Ave. Pawn Shop

Greece, NY (June 11, 2019) – On June 6, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s investigators executed a search warrant at the home of Richard Tellier, 38 years old, Greece, NY. Investigators seized multiple firearms, weapons, ammunition, and drugs. After further investigation, it was determined one of the firearms, a 9mm Glock 19 was previously stolen from Chinappi’s Gun Shop. The investigation also revealed a .45 handgun, recovered at Tellier’s home, was previously stolen in February 2017 from Mr. Gold Pawn Shop, located on Lyell Avenue. Sheriff’s deputies seized the following property from Mr. Tellier’s home:

 AK47 with fully loaded 30 round magazine  AR15 with fully loaded 30 round magazine  6 shotguns  1 sawed off shotgun  Hundreds of round of various ammunition  .45 Laama handgun (confirmed stolen from Mr. Gold Pawn Shop)  Glock 19 9 mm (confirmed stolen from Chinappi’s Gun Shop)  Omega 100 .22 revolver  Gem small caliber handgun  Goodman furnace (previously stolen)  10 grams marijuana  Small bag cocaine  Numerous vials of steroids  Numerous packages of Suboxone

Thanks to careful and diligent police work, Mr. Tellier was taken into custody and charged with the following:

Tellier, Richard 38 years old Greece, NY

Charges:  Criminal Possession Weapon in the 2nd degree (Class C – Felony)

 9 counts Criminal Possession Weapon in the 3rd degree (Class D – Felony)

 2 counts Criminal Possession of a Firearm (Class E – Felony)

 2 counts Criminal Possession Stolen Property in the 4th degree (Class E – Felony)

Mr. Tellier was arraigned in Greece Town Court on the charges and remanded to the Monroe County Jail on 20K/40K cash bail/bond.
