Château Lestrille

Our Lestrille wines are fruity, well-balanced, round and full of appeal. Aged in vats for one year, they are meant to be drunk young. Traditional winemaking techniques are used with great care, so as to produce a wine which fully reflects the grapes it comes from, along with their flavours and individuality.

Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge Grape varieties : 94% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon (2006 vintage). Tasting note: very ripe fruit, full-bodied on the palate and well-integrated texture… a real pleasure! Bordeaux Rosé Grape variety : Merlot. Tasting note: pronounced flavours of red fruit, on the palate it is soft, with a long and intense finish. Best enjoyed : 1 year. Entre-deux-Mers Grape varieties : Mostly Sauvignon blanc, some Muscadelle. Tasting notes: This is a fresh wine with lovely citrus and white peach flavours, well-balanced and both lively and round. Best enjoyed : 1 year. Quotes : chosen as one of the “Top Wines” of Entre-deux-Mers. The 2004 and 2005 vintages were awarded two stars by the Guide Hachette des Vins .
