That’s our simple way of saying that another season of Eisemann Center Presents is coming your way for 2016-2017. This will be our fourteenth season of bringing national and international touring artists and attractions to Richardson and North . We understand that there are many venues across the region presenting quality program- ming for you to experience, and we encourage you to see as much live entertainment as you can. We are blessed to be living in such a diverse market for seeing live performances representing programs of all types, styles, cultures that are produced locally or on tour.

On the following pages you will see the many artists and attractions that we add to the wonderful mix of entertain- ment opportunities for you to consider. In all there are twenty-six shows that we are delighted to have on our stages. Shows for youth and young families; shows that tell stories; shows that give inspiration; shows that are sim- ply entertaining and/or just plain funny! There is something for everyone and our shows are as diverse as the mar- ket in which we live.

Some highlights and updates for the new season to help sweeten the pot:

• An increased savings of 25% off single ticket pricing for our three full subscription series offerings:

• Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel is celebrating the 30th Anniversary Season of “concerts with com- mentary” in the Dallas market. One of our growing series in both subscriptions and attendance, we are pleased to have been presenting this acclaimed series for nine of those seasons. Four outstanding programs are in line for this celebratory season, including an opening night reception for subscribers in October.

• Our Theatre Series will open with the return of our ever popular Sister in the newest of her Catechism series of shows – Sister’s Back to School Catechism: The Holy Ghost and Other Terrifying Tales, followed by the return of Robert Dubac in his newest show – The Book of Moron. The series will then culminate with two new shows mak- ing their North Texas premieres – Disenchanted! The Hilarious Hit Musical and The Other Mozart written by and starring Sylvia Milo. A solid four shows we are extremely pleased to be presenting.

• The Methodist Richardson Family Theatre Series continues with five outstanding shows that are designed to entertain children ages pre-K to 3rd grade. From the eccentricities of Doktor Kaboom! in October to the Kennedy Center on Tour production of Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play in April 2017, this series is truly fun-filled. Our highly popular Eisemann Extras featuring educational and interactive preshow activities for our youngest patrons will also continue.

Filling out the season are four Spotlight Artists programs featuring artists we have discovered and feel worthy of being in the spotlight. Our line-up of nine MainStage Shows features a broad mix of programming. We’re particu- larly excited about the return of Greater Tuna, featuring two new actors who will be cast and directed by Jaston Williams. Jaston, along with Joe Sears, created and starred in the beloved plays set in Tuna, Texas for thirty years.

We hope you will find many reasons to SEE IT LIVE! at the Eisemann Center this season. I encourage you to visit our website for additional information and video clips of our shows as well as a full listing of all the other attractions arts organizations from across North Texas bring to our stages.

THE OTHER MOZART is the true and untold story of Nannerl Mozart, the sister of Amadeus . A prodigy, keyboard virtuoso and composer, she performed throughout Europe with her brother to equal acclaim, but her work and her story faded away, lost to history. Created by Sylvia Milo, the monodrama is set in a stunning 18- foot dress (designed by Magdalena Dabrowska from the National Theater of Poland). Directed by Isaac Byrne, THE OTHER MOZART is based on facts, stories and lines pulled directly from the Mozart family’s humorous and heartbreaking letters.
