The new routes from Nagoya (Chubu) to Okinawa (Naha) and Ishigaki will increase the number of routes that Peach operates out of Chubu Centrair International Airport to a total of four routes, including the (New Chitose) and Sendai routes (both of which have been announced as beginning December 24). Peach added eight new routes* this fiscal year, bringing its total number of domestic routes to 30 and increasing convenience even further.

Peach CEO Takeaki Mori commented, “In addition to the flights announced today from Nagoya (Chubu) to Sapporo (New Chitose) and Sendai, we will also begin service to Okinawa (Naha) and Ishigaki. Peach’s mission is to continue to stably provide affordable air travel with low fares and to connect regions, with a priority on COVID-19 infection countermeasures. Furthermore, as we feel that it is important to simultaneously pursue both infection control and economic activity, we have recently introduced a trial program that allows access to some of our domestic routes after antigen testing. Peach will overcome the harsh environment surrounding the airline industry and establish a new style of travel that balances both infection control and economic activity.”

Going forward, Peach will continue to provide affordable travel at low fares as a bridge connecting regions and expand its network of flights, all while thoroughly implementing infection countermeasures. *Including the two routes announced today.
