Thursday, June 04th Honolulu – Tokyo/ Narita ______8:30a.m. Please meet NADINE SHIMABUKURO at the AIRLINES check-in area located at Lobby #5 of the Honolulu International Airport. She will give you your “E – ticket” & luggage tags. Due to tight airport security, you will be checking in individually or as a family. 11:10a.m. Depart on Flt.#785 bound for TOKYO NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT in Japan. In-flight meals: LUNCH: Main entrée’, Salad, Miso Soup, Seasonal Ice Cream, & Cookies Prior to arrival: Croissant Sandwich with Yogurt. th Friday, June 05 Tokyo/ Narita – Narita______2:30p.m. Arrival at Narita/ Tokyo International Airport. Upon arrival, immigration and custom procedures are required. After immigration, please pickup your own baggage from the carousel and go thru customs. We will then proceed to board the chartered bus to go to HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER NARITA. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from Narita Airport and free shuttle bus for exclusive hotel guest to Aeon Mall Narita. After check-in, the rest of the day is at your leisure. You can take the shuttle to Aeon Mall for some shopping and dinner. Last shuttle departs Aeon Mall at 8:45pm..

Saturday, June 06th Narita – Ibaraki – Tokyo(Odaiba)______6:30-9:00a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 9:15a.m. Check-out of the hotel and meet your English speaking guide, Ms. YUUKI KOBAYASHI at the hotel lobby. 9:30a.m. Bus departs for ITAKO, IBARAKI. 10:15a.m. Arrive ITAKO STATION, walk to ITAKO IRIS FESTIVAL (Ayame Matsuri). The festival is held along Itako's riverside park covered with purple, white and yellow iris blossoms. Each year, around 800,000 people come from all over Japan to enjoy the pretty flowers among the canals and bridges of Itako. One of the highlights during the weekend is the bride in white wedding kimono comes to the festival and would board the boats along with their parents and dowry and floats through the town down its network of canals to reach the shrine, where the groom and his family would be waiting. Its an Itako tradition that lives on but only during the Iris Festival period. Free time to walk around the festival ground & park and have lunch on your own. Different Yatais (food vendors selling from Yakisoba, Takoyaki, & etc.). 12:30p.m. After lunch, bus departs for TSUKUBA CITY. 1:30p.m. Visit TSUKUBA SPACE CENTER, the headquarters and main operational facility of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Japan's equivalent of NASA. JAXA trains astronauts, builds satellites, conducts its exploration. JAXA Gift Shop offers JAXA space goods, souvenirs, and other small gifts. Last stop, USHIKU DAIBUTSU, the largest Buddhist Statue in Japan and the 3rd largest in the world. 120 meters (over 390 feet) or equivalent to a 38-story building. Along the way to the daibutsu is nakamise (souvenir shops).We will take an elevator to the top at 85 meters. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Tokyo Skytree in Tokyo. We will take the elevator down to the Lotus Sanctuary on the third floor. Prepare to be amazed at .

the Lotus Sanctuary it houses over 3000 golden statues of Buddha. They line the walls from floor to ceiling. The statues commemorate people who have died. 5:00p.m. Depart USHIKU bound for TOKYO, ODAIBA. 6:30p.m. Check-in at HOTEL GRAND NIKKO TOKYO DAIBA for 3 nights in Odaiba. This hotel located in Odaiba (an artificial island in Tokyo Bay) overlooking the Rainbow Bridge and across from Aqua City (shopping mall). The rest of the day at your leisure. For dinner you can go to Aqua City: The1st floor has a Food Court, on the 5th floor there’s a Sizzler Restaurant with all you can eat salad bar. At the end of the 5th floor is “ GOTOUCHI MEN MATSURI” Famous Ramen & Gyoza from Hokkaido, Hakata, Kyoto, & Osaka, all in one place. 100 yen “DAISO” on the 4th floor next to KUMAZAWA Book Store. Sunday, June 07th Tokyo City Tour______6:30a.m.(starts) Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 9:00a.m. Bus departs for 1 day TOKYO CITY TOUR. 9:30a.m. First stop will be at the IMPERIAL PALACE PLAZA, the large plaza in front of the Imperial Palace, visitors can view the Nijubashi, two bridges that form an entrance to the inner palace grounds. The stone bridge is called Meganebashi (Eyeglass Bridge) for its looks. The bridge in the back was formerly a wooden bridge with two levels, from which the name Nijubashi (Double Bridge) is derived.

Tokyo Tower Imperial Palace Plaza(Meganebashi) Asakusa Kannon Temple We will visit TOKYO TOWER, observation deck with a 360 degree view of the city. TOKYO TOWER is 1093 ft. tall, making it the world’s highest self-supporting steel tower and the 2nd tallest man-made structure in Japan. As of 2011, Tokyo Skytree (2080 ft) is the tallest TV antenna tower in Japan. Lunch on your own at the food court inside Tokyo Tower. After lunch, a visit to ASAKUSA KANNON TEMPLE, where incense fills the air and colorful stalls of the Nakamise Arcade, join visitors and locals who come to shop for souvenirs and gifts. Last stop, EDO TOKYO MUSEUM, a facility to preserve the historical heritage of Edo –Tokyo (opened on April 2018 after 8 months of renovations). 5:30p.m. Return back to HOTEL GRAND NIKKO TOKYO DAIBA. Monday, June 08th Tokyo City & Yokohama______6:30a.m.(starts) Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 9:00a.m. Bus departs for Tokyo City Tour and Yokohama. 9:30a.m. First stop, TSUKIJI OUTER MARKET, Japan’s “FOOD TOWN” where one can encounter all kinds of Japanese traditional foods. A mixture of wholesale and retail shops along the numerous restaurants, new culinary trends are born here. Lunch on your own at Tsukiji.

12:00p.m. Bus departs for next stop to UENO’S AMEYOKKO. 12:30p.m. Some shopping time at UENO’S AMEYOKKO, a busy market street along the Yamanote Train Line tracks between Okachimachi and Ueno stations. Our first stop shop will be to MARUYASU STORE, cheapest place to buy individually wrapped scallop: Regular price, 2850yen for 280 grams but special HAWAII Price: 2000yen MARUYASU STORE also has TIRAMISU CHOCOLATES, SOFT DRIED IKA & TAKO.

Maruyasu does have some things to sample just ask. KASHI no NIKI maybe one of Ameyoko’s most famous vendors. They have been in business since 1947, a large discount shop for sweets and candies. 2:00p.m. Bus departs for YOKOHAMA. 3:00p.m. Last stop, YOKOHAMA NISSIN CUP NOODLE MUSEUM, the museum shows the 40 year history of the product as well as the founder’s creativity by exhibiting 3,000 kinds of cup noodle packages. You will have the opportunity to make your own original Cup Noodle. 5:30p.m. Return back to HOTEL GRAND NIKKO TOKYO DAIBA. The rest of the evening at your leisure. ( B )

Today’s a free day at your leisure, you can go holo holo in Tokyo or around the hotel area is LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Tokyo, Japan’s first LEGO Attraction, located in DECKS MALL (right next to Aqua City). GUNDAM CAFÉ in DIVER CITY PLAZA, 7-10 minutes from our hotel. On a clear day, you can go to TOKYO SKYTREE is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo.With a height of 634 meters (634 can be read as "Musashi", a historic name of the Tokyo Region), it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world. TOKYO DISNEYLAND or TOKYO DISNEY SEA, our hotel has a courtesy shuttle to either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo Disney Sea. MT. Wednesday, June 10th Tokyo – Okinawa ______6:30-10:00a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 9:15a.m. Check-out of the hotel. 9:30a.m. Depart hotel on chartered bus to TOKYO/ , TERMINAL#1. 10:30a.m. Arrive TOKYO/ HANEDA AIRPORT, TERMINAL #1. Upon arrival, check-in at JAPAN AIRLINES. After checking in, you will have some time to buy snacks, drinks, & etc. Liquids or drinks are allowed thru Security to getting to your departure gate, please prior show your liquids or drinks to the security agent, they have a liquid analyzer machine to check the contents. 12:00p.m. Depart Tokyo/ Haneda on Japan Airlines Flt.#915 bound for , Okinawa. No meals will be served on the domestic flight. 2:35p.m. Arrive Naha, Okinawa. At , please pickup your own baggage. We will proceed straight to our awaiting chartered bus at the Group Bus Parking Lot. 3:30p.m. Check in at HOTEL PALM ROYAL NAHA for 5 nights stay. The hotel is located near Kokusai Dori and near the entrance of famous HEIWA DORI. The hotel is less than 15 minutes away from the Monorail, Yui Rail – Makishi Station. Coin laundry facility on the 2nd floor. So bring your own fabric softener (laundry detergent is dispensed through the washing machine). Ice Machine on the 2nd floor. Thursday, June 11th Naha – Southern Tour – Naha______7:00-8:45a.m. Breakfast at the hotel located on the 1st floor near the elevator. 9:00a.m. Bus departs for SHURI CASTLE. Shuri was the ancient capitol of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Visiting “SHUREI NO MON” (Gate of Courtesy). In 1972 this gate was designated as a prefectural cultural asset. The main entrance to Shuri Castle is Kan Kai Mon (Gate of Joy). We will walk on the Ishi-datami (cobblestone road and stone stairs) and pass thru three more gates before entering the main castle complex. This was the residence and seat of government of the Sho Dynasty, which ruled the Ryukyu Kingdom from 1406 to 1879. This beautiful castle was reconstructed over many years and completed in November 1992.

Shurei no Mon Shuri Castle Courtyard Makunouchi Bento Chuko Awamori Shop Suppai Man 11:00a.m. We will then visit HIMEYURI NO TO (Star Lily Memorial). The monument was erected in remembrance of the female high school students who supported the Japanese military as nurses but were killed during the Battle of Okinawa. We will also tour the HIMEYURI PEACE MUSEUM. 12:30p.m. Makunouchi Bento Lunch at YUBIDO, the restaurant/gift shop located across the museum. 2:30p.m. After lunch, CHUKO AWAMORI FACTORY. The only distillery in Okinawa that creates its own unique earthenware jars. Other awamori brands to be found in bottles are nicely flavored “Chuko” and the smooth one” Jinpu”. The factory has a video with English subtitles of how Okinawan Awamori is made. You will be given an opportunity to taste different types of awamori and umeshu (plum wine). 3:30p.m. Last stop, UEMA KASHITEN (Candy) FACTORY in TOMIGUSUKU. “SUPPAI MAN “ has been sold over 30 years as an Okinawan snack which is dried plum similar to our “LI HING MUI”. It became so popular, it is sold in some stores in main land Japan too. At the factory, you can see how Suppai-man is made. 5:30p.m. Return to hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Friday, June 12th Naha - Northern Okinawa – Naha ______7:00 - 8:15a.m Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Today we will go to the northern part of Okinawa called “ YANBARU”. 8:30a.m Bus departs for NORTHERN TOUR of OKINAWA. Will make one 5-4-4(Go-Shi-shi) stop at the Igei Service Area on the tollway. 10:30a.m MORI NO GARASU (RYUKYU GLASS FACTORY), here you will experience how to blow and make your own glass cup. At the Snack Bar, you can enjoy eating Okinawan Shaved Ice Zenzai, regular shave ice or ice cream.

Ryukyu Glass Making Ice Shaved Zensai Churaumi Aquarium 11:15a.m. Bus departs for CHURAUMI AQUARIUM in Motobu. Churaumi means beautiful ocean in Okinawan dialect. This aquarium features the world’s largest acrylic panel, which is sure to dazzle you with exotic and colorful fishes, whale sharks and manta rays. Be sure to ask the aquarium staff for a re-entry stamp before you leave the aquarium. Dolphin Show (1:00p.m.) at Okichan theatre, which is a few minutes by foot from the aquarium. Lunch at your own expense. Near the aquarium is the oceanview restaurant “INOH” which serves buffet style Okinawan Food with asst. dessert & drinks included (1520yen per person or senior citizen 65yrs old or over is 1190yen per person). Or try “OCEAN BLUE CAFE” located on the 1st floor of the aquarium near the window of the Kuroshio Tank, serving Spaghetti Napolitano, Taco Rice, Taco Sandwich & drinks. We will go as a group to the bus parking area. 2:35p.m. Last stop, will be to KOURI ISLAND, part of Nakajin Village. Kouri Island and Yagaji Island are connected with a bridge (2020 meters long or 1.4 miles long). KOURI OCEAN TOWER has a panoramic view that is fascinating. Original sweets made from specialty produce of Kouri Island. Kouri Ocean Tower's original character goods are on sale. Within the shop, you can observe where the pumpkin sweets Cabonee are sold exclusively on Kouri Island. Famous Pineapple Charcoal Soap too.

Saturday, June 13th Naha – Uruma City – Naha______6:30 - 8:30a.m Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 9:00a.m. Bus departs for the east side of Okinawa overlooking the Pacific Ocean to Henza Island in Uruma City, OKINAWA KAICHU ROAD is a road on the sea whose length is 4.7 kilometers (almost 3 miles) the largest of its kind in Asia. It is a beautiful scenic and naturalistic drive. We will make a restroom stop and you will have some shopping time at UMI no EKI “AYAHASHIKAN” near the beginning of the road to Henza.

Continue on to MIYAGI ISLAND to the “NUCHI MASU FACTORY” (sea salt of Okinawa). Nuchi masu (salt) contains 21 kinds of minerals, which was registered in the Guinness World Records in 2000 for its significant mineral richness. 1:00p.m. Last stop, AEON GUSHIKAWA SHOPPING MALL (Jusco), free leisure time for lunch and some shopping time. On the 2nd floor, there is a 100 Yen Daiso, UNIQLO (Japanese OLD NAVY Store) and more. 3:30p.m. Depart Aeon Gushikawa Shopping Mall to go back to Naha. 5:00p.m. Bus arrives back to HOTEL PALM ROYAL NAHA. Monday, June 15th Naha - Southern Okinawa - Naha______7:00 - 8:15a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 8:30a.m. Bus departs for the Southern portion of Okinawa. We will visit GYOKUSENDO PARK, which features a large underground stalactite grotto and an exhibit on poisonous Okinawa “Habu” (snakes). Upon arrival, enter Gyokusendo Cave. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk through the cave. After exiting the cave it will lead you to the tropical garden and Ryukyu Village. 10:30a.m. Watch an Eisa dance performance by local students at the cultural stage, located near the 2nd floor of the gift shop (20 minute performance). 11:30a.m. Buffet lunch (Okinawan food) at Gyokusendo restaurant located on the 2nd floor above the gift shop. 12:30p.m. After lunch, free time to shop around, go back to the cultural village or you might want to see the Eisa dance performance again at 12:30p.m. .

The museum is divided into 4 sections: “The Road to the Battle of Okinawa”, “Okinawan on the Battlefield”, “Room of Testimony” and “From the Refugee Camps”. Next walk to the CORNERSTONE OF PEACE (Heiwa no Ishiji). It is inscribed with names of each individual, who lost their life in the Battle of Okinawa. 4:00p.m. Arrival back at HOTEL PALM ROYAL NAHA. Tuesday, June 16th Okinawa – Nagoya – Honolulu______7:00-10:00a.m. Buffet breakfast at hotel. 11:00a.m. Check-out. All your luggage should be down in the hotel lobby. If you need assistance please call the front desk. Free time until departure to the airport. 12:30p.m. Depart Hotel Palm Royal Naha for Naha Airport. Upon arrival, please have your passport and “e” ticket ready. 1:00p.m. Check-in at Naha Airport at JAL. Be sure to check that you have your passport & “E” ticket with you. After check in procedures, you are free to roam around the airport or get something to eat. There will be no food served on the flight to Nagoya. 3:55p.m. Depart on JAPAN TRANSOCEAN FLT. # 44 bound for NAGOYA CENTRAIR AIRPORT. 6:10p.m. Arrive NAGOYA AIRPORT. No need to pick-up your luggage(s), but you will need to go thru the domestic baggage & arrival area, in order to exit the “Domestic” side of the airport. At the Nagoya Chubu Centrair International Airport: 2nd floor is your domestic arrival lobby. 3rd floor is the international departure lobby (Duty Free Shops after immigration) and Shops that sells Royce Chocolate, Shiroi Koibito Cookies, & etc. (most of the shops close at 9:00pm) 4th floor has a food court, Uniqlo, shops, and restaurants. 9:15p.m. Go thru security check and passport control to go to your designated gate for your departure flight. After passport control, there are duty free shops and gift shops for your shopping convenience. 10:05p.m. Depart on Japan Airlines Flt.#792 bound for Honolulu. Crossing the International Date Line, you will arrive in Honolulu on the same day you departed Japan, Monday morning. In flight dinner will be served one hour after takeoff.
