History of the West Point Trolley Saturday, February 29 The Village Teahouse will host local historians who will chronical the storied history of West Point’s trolley – a 20th century focal point of the West Point village community. The trolley barn still stands on West Point Pike, not far from the - house. Our Elizabeth Tea Meal with will be served in our Victorian room with seat- ings at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Cost is $45 per person, all-inclusive. A Taste of Ireland Wednesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 21 “The craic (pronounced KRAK) was 90,” as the Irish would say. In the States, this translates to “a fun and excellent atmosphere.” The Teahouse will serve traditional Irish fare during regular business hours. There will be a touch of Irish through the years. May the luck of the Irish be with you! Make your reservation now. God’s Treasure House Donation Drive March 11 through April 11 From March 11 to April 11, the Teahouse will match every monetary donation made by its guests to local charity God’s Treasure House Ministries, which was established to provide transitional care for women and children. We are proud to support this cause!

Spring Tea & “Old-Fashioned” Show Saturday, March 21 It is our pleasure to announce the first Spring Tea & “Old-Fashioned” Fashion Show hosted by The Village Teahouse, Shekala’s & Family Heritage Gift Shop with seatings at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Models will travel table-to-table donning the most elegant styles of today. $50 per person, all-inclusive. A portion of ticket sales will go to God’s Treasure House. As a bonus, Shekala’s & Family Heritage Gift Shop will give each guest of the Spring Tea special discounts at both shops. The Easter Bunny Visits Saturday, April 11 The Easter Bunny will be hopping into the Teahouse again this year from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Our bushy-tailed friend will be available for pictures and table visits with a regular reservation.

Tea with Sinatra Saturday, April 25 Come fly with The Village Teahouse as Frank Sinatra, professionally portrayed by John Monforto, croons while ladies swoon! Our Sinatra impersonator is a skilled entertainer who will perform Sinatra’s hits from table-to-table with seatings at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Our Elizabeth Tea Meal with scone will be served. Cost is $50 per person, all-inclusive.

Mother’s Day Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 We celebrate the special ladies in our lives – our mothers! It is a time to honor motherhood, maternal bonds and a mothers’ love. We will be serving our Margaret’s Full Tea Meal with mother in mind. Cost is $50 per person, all-inclusive. Epic Titanic Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 Guests will board our RMS Titanic luxury ocean liner and be assigned a passenger to follow on the ship’s historic voyage. Participation is encouraged and guests are asked to adorn Edwardian fashion, a clothing style made popular during the nineteen-teens. You will enjoy an 8-course meal of authentic Titanic recipes. Prizes will be awarded. Cost is $80 per person, all-inclusive.

Annual Ice Cream Social Wednesday, July 15 through Saturday, July 18 Do you have a sweet tooth? If so, we can satisfy your appetite with our magnificent homemade milkshakes and tea-inspired ice cream! Come in during regular business hours to enjoy a cold treat or join us from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Prices vary depending on the dish you choose! Local Underground Railroad History Saturday, August 8 Join us for a historical presenta- tion by a historian on the local Underground Railroad, a net- work of secret passageways set up for the purposes of escorting slaves to free states. There will be two seatings at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and our Elizabeth Tea Meal with will be served. Cost is $47 per person, all-inclusive. Scotland & Ireland Trip September 3 through September 14 Join Meg on a trip of a lifetime to Ireland and Scotland! A fully guided trip, you will be stay- ing in a beautiful manor home and a centuries old castle all while enjoying stunning scenery. Annual TVT Fall Yard Sale Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 Are you downsizing? Or did you just delay spring cleaning? Come join us for our annual Teahouse yard sale! Each yardsaler is asked to bring his or her own table and lawn chair. If interested in reserving a spot, get in touch with Meg. Cost is free to Teahouse guests. Gatsby Murder Mystery Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 Welcome to Lands End, a grand estate on the tip of Long Island known for its lavish parties. Before its latest party can begin, there is a murder sparking an immediate investigation and everyone is a suspect! Can you find the murderer? Dress up and get into the game! There will be a Friday seating at 7 p.m. and two Saturday seatings at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. and will feature a special 20’s Gatsby inspired dinner menu with mocktails. Cost is $60 per person, all-inclusive. “Winning the Vote”: Women’s Suffrage Saturday, November 7 For nearly a century, activists pursued the equal treatment of women under the law. A presentation will be given by skilled reen- actor, Carol Spacht. Carol will perform as Dora Lewis, a prominent Philadelphia born suffragist. She will discuss women’s suffrage and the campaign for female participation in our Republic! There will be two seatings at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and our Elizabeth Tea Meal with scones will be served. Cost is $50 per person, all-inclusive.

A Victorian Christmas Saturday, December 5 The Victorian era ushered in a magically festive spirit that would change Christmastime for- ever. The Teahouse will host a reenactor to discuss timeless Christmas traditions and symbols that we have come to know and love. There will be two seatings Saturday at 3 & 5 p.m. and two seating’s Sunday at 1 & 3 p.m. Our Elizabeth Tea Meal with scones will be served. Cost is $40 per person, all-inclusive.

Visit from Santa Claus Saturday, December 12 & Saturday, December 19 Santa for the ladies! Come join us during regular business hours to meet our Old Saint Nick. Santa will be available for conversation and merriment with a regular reservation.
