How to Process Your Shipments

UPS offers a wide variety of door-to-door services with guaranteed delivery time and customs clearance. To determine the service, weight, zone, rate and additional charges, follow these steps.

UPS Worldwide Express Plus® Export: • Guaranteed delivery by 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., or 11:00 a.m. to major cities in 56 countries and territories. Delivery is guaranteed within one or two business days to the United States and Canada and on the second or third business day to Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Import with Consignee Payment Option: • This service is not available for your imports.

UPS Worldwide Express® Export: • Guaranteed delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 117 countries and territories. Delivery is guaranteed within one or two business days to the United States and Canada and on the second or third business day to Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Import with Consignee Payment Option: • Guaranteed delivery generally by 2:00 p.m. in select cities for your imports from more than 185 countries and territories worldwide.

UPS Worldwide Express Saver® Export: • Guaranteed delivery within one or two business days, before the end of day, in the United States and Canada, and before end of the second or third business day to main metropolitan areas in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and other destinations.

Import with Consignee Payment Option: • Guaranteed delivery before end of business day from more than 185 countries and territories worldwide.

Additional Charge Description Charge Saturday Delivery For your international shipments, the rate is based on the UPS Worldwide Express rate, plus the additional charge. US$17.00 per shipment to the United States, Canada, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan

Residential Delivery A fee will be assessed when a shipment is delivered to a residential destination. If a business is located in a US$4.55 per package to the United States and Canada residential area, the Residential Delivery charge will be assessed.

Delivery Confirmation Signature Required US$5.00 per shipment When the customer selects this service, the driver will require a signature in order to complete the delivery.

Adult Signature Required US$5.75 per shipment The driver will require the signature of an adult 18-21 years of age or older at the time of delivery. If no adult is available, UPS will make a second or third delivery attempt. Indirect deliveries or "deliver to" notes will not be accepted.

Direct Delivery Only UPS will only deliver the package to the address listed on the shipping label. The package cannot be re-directed or US$2.25 delivered to an alternate address.

It is not necessary for the package to be delivered directly to the person listed on the label; no signature is required.

Available for residential and commercial delivery.

Declared Value A shipment is automatically protected against loss or damage up to US$100.00 per shipment. From US$0.00 to US$100.00: US$0.00

The maximum declared value and the maximum legal responsibility of UPS is US$50,000.00 per shipment. The customer generates the label and includes it in an outbound shipment or distributes separately to their customer, who then applies the label to the package. The fee will be effective on the invoice when the shipment is scanned by UPS for return service.

• Electronic Return Label US$1.00 per electronic request

UPS e-mails the label upon your request to your customer, who then prints the label and applies it to the package.The fee will be effective on the invoice when the shipment is scanned by UPS for return service.

• UPS Print and Mail Return Label US$2.25 per request

UPS prints the label upon your request and mails it to your customer, who then applies the label to the package.The fee will be effective on the invoice by selecting the service.

• Web Return Label US$1.50 per online request

The customer can print the return label directly from the Website of the company where he/she is purchasing the merchandise. The return label will be created and will display in the customer's computer monitor. The fee will be effective on the invoice when the shipment is scanned by UPS for return service.

• 1 UPS Pickup Attempt US$6.00

If the package cannot be picked up on the first attempt, UPS will leave the return label at the pickup location. The fee will be effective on the invoice by selecting the service.

Large Package A package is considered a “Large Package” when its length plus girth [(2 x width) + (2 x height)] combined exceeds 118 inches, but does not US$90.00 per package exceed the maximum UPS size of 157 inches.

Large Packages shipped are subject to a minimum billable weight of 90 pounds.

The Additional Handling fee will not be billed when the Large Package Surcharge has been applied.

Duty and Tax Forwarding This charge applies when duties and taxes are charged to the shipper or a third party that is not located in the destination country. This fee US$20.00 per shipment covers the cost incurred to bill the duties and taxes outside of the destination country.

Missing or Invalid UPS An additional fee will be assessed for a missing or invalid account number when the UPS Account Number is missing, the UPS Account US$17.00 per shipment Number is not the correct number for the Bill-to Party, or if it is the UPS Account Number for a Receiver or Third Party who fails to pay the Account Number shipping charges.

Extended Areas UPS provides service in extended areas as well as urban areas. An additional charge applies for each shipment that is collected or delivered US$32.50 or US$0.33 per pound, whichever in an extended area. Undeliverable Shipment For all international shipments refused by the consignee, or which cannot be delivered due to any other cause beyond UPS’s control, UPS Shipping costs plus a US$10.00 surcharge Return will contact the shipper for further instructions. Shipping costs and a surcharge will apply to the return of each such undeliverable shipment, at the shipper’s expense.

Additional Handling In the UPS system, an Additional Handling Fee may be applied to international shipments. This fee will be applied to the following: US$13.50 per package

• Any article that is encased in an outside shipping container made of metal or wood • Any cylindrical item, such as a barrel, drum, pail, or tire, that is not fully encased in a corrugated cardboard shipping container • Any package with the longest side exceeding 48 inches or its second-longest side exceeding 30 inches • Any package with an actual weight greater than 70 pounds • Each package in a shipment where the average weight per package is greater than 70 pounds and the weight for each package is not specified on the source document or the UPS automated shipping system used.

The Additional Handling Fee will not be assessed to packages qualifying for Over Maximum Limits charge.

UPS also reserves the right to assess the Additional Handling Charge for any package that, in UPS's sole discretion, requires special handling.

Prohibited Items "Packages containing prohibited articles or restricted articles not in compliance with all UPS policies and procedures and applicable laws and US$150 per package regulations are subject to additional charges if found in the UPS system.

Such charges apply in addition to all other applicable charges.

UPS reserves the right in its sole and unlimited discretion to dispose of such packages, submit such packages to governmental authorities, or return such packages to the shipper solely at the shipper’s risk and expense.
