Washington National Opera presents Opera Gala Saturday, May 16, 2020 Chairs George and Kristen Lund Celebrating the Honorable Selwa "Lucky" Roosevelt

As one of Washington’s premier spring events, this celebratory night is a toast to DC's opera scene and its champions, hosting more than 2,000 guests including political dignitaries, business executives, philanthropic leaders, and DC’s movers and shakers.

The evening begins at various embassies and residences located throughout the city, where guests will enjoy intimate dinners provided by their ambassadorial hosts and have an unparalleled opportunity to experience each country’s culture and hospitality. Following dinner, guests convene at the Kennedy Center for a star-studded performance in the Opera House. After the performance, the night will conclude with a festive reception in the Center’s newly built REACH campus, where guests will dance the night away in style.
