Our Gage Ranch is legendary for it’s native & exotic hunting which includes whitetail deer, turkey hunting and 60+ additional species available to hunt! You will see thousands of wildlife free ranging on over 18,000 acres of Texas Hill Country. A few of the species you will encounter on your visit include waterbuck, buffalo, nilgai, ostrich, lechwe, sheep, oryx, sable, axis, bongo, kudu, blackbucks, elk, hogs, red stags and of course record-breaking whitetail deer.
Our ranch may primarily be a hunting ranch; however, our lodging and accommodations rival many of the world’s finest resorts! We understand that fair chase hunting is not for everyone and that is why we have created activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Those activities include hand-feeding giraffes, driving and firing a WWII Sherman tank, machine gun shooting, skeet shooting, fishing, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.

NIGH T VISION HOG HUNTING If you are looking for a unique and exciting hunting experience, look no further! At our ranch, you can hunt feral hogs with the same night vision tubes that Seal Team Six used to kill Bin Laden!
The night vision goggles we deploy provide us with a tactical advantage that allows us to locate and eradicate wild boars. The guns we use have IR laser beams that are invisible to the naked eye. We also use the “Spot and Stalk” hunting method with help from our thermal binoculars and thermal scoped weaponry. This is all done without the use of any lights and using AR-15 weapons. No lighting provides us with the element of surprise and in many cases the hogs will charge towards the vehicle when the shooting begins!

Our ranch has cabins that are as beautiful as the nature surrounding them. Our cabins are a piece of history that date as far back as the early 1800s! They have been relocated from Kentucky and rebuilt, log by log, to include modern day amenities. Our cabins’ lakefront setting, rustic interiors, and beautiful wood burning fireplaces will leave you breathless! The cabins are strategically placed along the water where thousands of native and exotic wildlife species visit! These luxurious antique cabins rival some of the nicest hotel rooms in the world! Most of our cabins have a jacuzzi tub, kitchenette and a spacious living room. They are located just feet away from our beautiful lakes with the exception of our Summit Cabin. The Summit Cabin lies atop a secluded mountain and has a view that is to die for! The Summit’s view stretches for miles in all directions and can be best enjoyed from the private hot tub and pool!
