Our outfitter’s areas span the entire width of the Alaska Peninsula, from Bristol Bay on the west to the Pacific Ocean on the east. The Island Arm of Becharof Lake provides most of the spawning habitat for Sockeye and Coho Salmon in the Becharof drainage. Consequently, it attracts very high densities of Brown Bear. The outfitter’s additional area borders Shelikof Strait on the Pacific side of the peninsula. They have harvested many bears over 10 feet from all three areas. All hunts are 1x1 and these guides love to hunt Bear! They average over 12 years of experience and some have worked with this outfitter for 20 years. Our outfitter has been in operation for more than 34 years, and this is the largest hunting concession in the Alaska Peninsula. The Bear average over 9 feet with success rates over 90%.
