At 0025 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire from Bab al-Siba` and Bab Turkman on law enforcement personnel near the Qarabi school. 2. At 0100 hours, an armed terrorist group stole an oil drilling rig west of the village of Haqr and abducted two labourers. 3. At 0800 hours, an armed terrorist group opened intermittent fire from the direction of Khalidiyah on law enforcement personnel near the Makatib roundabout. 4. At 0800 hours, an armed terrorist group opened intermittent fire on law enforcement personnel in the Sabil quarter. 5. At 1100 hours, an armed terrorist group placed an explosive device on the railway line intersection with the road to the convoy transit centre. 6. At 1200 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in the Qarabis quarter, injuring one conscript. 7. At 1430 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in Rastan. 8. At 1515 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire from the direction of Khalidiyah on law enforcement personnel in Bayadah quarter, killing Staff Sergeant Sulaiman Tharif al-Abdullah and injuring another man. 9. At 1515 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in the Jubb al-Jandali quarter, injuring Lieutenant Mahmud Fu’ad al-Washji. 10. At 1530 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in the Rastan quarter. 11. At 1600 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire from the direction of Maydan on law enforcement personnel around the citadel. 12. At 1745 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel near the education directorate building. 13. At 1800 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire from the direction of Sultaniyah on the department of military transport lading station in Kafr Aya. 14. At 1900 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire at random in the Qusur quarter, injuring two civilians. 15. At 1927 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in the Qusur quarter, injuring one man. 2 12-34240 S/2012/312 16. At 1955 hours, an armed terrorist group placed mines in the Khanuqat al-Suq police station sector in Jusiyah. When a border guard patrol went to investigate, it came under fire. 17. At 2210 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire from the direction of Khalidiyah on law enforcement personnel in the Qusur quarter. 18. At 2217 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire from Bab al-Siba` and Bab Turkman on law enforcement personnel near the Qarabi school. 19. At 2225 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in Tibiah village in Hawlah. 20. At 2240 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in Talbisah. 21. At 2245 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in Tall Dahab, Hawlah. Dayr al-Zawr governorate 22. At 0700 hours, an armed terrorist group stole a Government Hyundai microbus No. 995051 that was allocated to the Furat Oil Company. 23. At 1100 hours, an armed terrorist group placed an explosive device at the Basil Hospital roundabout in Abu Kamal. 24. At 1900 hours in a van an armed terrorist group blocked the Abu Kamal- Mayadin road at Quriyah and abducted two soldiers from the village of Sayyal. 25. At 2047 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on a law enforcement patrol as it was passing through Dayr al-Zawr. Three personnel were wounded and their vehicle was damaged. 26. At 2100 hours, armed men opened fire on demonstrators in Abu Kamal, injuring a civilian, Ali Ulyan. 27. At 2200 hours, an armed terrorist group stormed the Quriyah municipality building and set fire to a water tank and a municipality pickup vehicle. 28. At 2200 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on a law enforcement checkpoint in Muhassan. 29. At 2300 hours, an armed terrorist group blocked the Damascus road and searched passing cars. 30. At 2345 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on the Third Brigade position in Tall Adas. Darà governorate 31. At 0130 hours, an armed terrorist group blocked the Busra al-Sham-Darà road in the village of Ma`raba and searched passing cars. 32. At 0130 hours, an armed terrorist group used stones to block the Damascus- Darà road in the village of Wardat. 33. At 0300 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on the police station and the law enforcement checkpoint in Ghabaghib. 12-34240 3 S/2012/312 34. At 0300 hours, an armed terrorist group detonated an explosive device in a fuel tank at the Ghazzali Tourist Complex garage in Qarfah, on the Damascus-Darà road. 35. At 0600 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement checkpoint No. 5, injuring one man. 36. At 0800 hours, an armed terrorist group detonated an explosive device as a law enforcement patrol was passing through Darà on Sadd road. Two police officers were injured. 37. At 1030 hours, an armed terrorist group abducted two Palestinian-Syrian men, Walid Omar Abdul-Al and Adnan Muhammad Abdul-Al, from Darà town centre. The latter was released, while the former was taken, with his Avante car, to an unknown location. 38. At 1100 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel near the Aghrar Centre in Tafas. A vehicle carrying law enforcement forces that passed by at the same time also came under fire. 39. At 1130 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on a law enforcement forces vehicle as it was passing through Tafas. 40. At 1500 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on the house of a civilian, Muhammad Juma` al-Jarabiàh, secretary of the party team of the Arab Socialist Baàth Party in Busra al-Hariri. 41. At 1500 hours, armed men broke and ripped out the military cable inspection cover that is situated to the east of the Hayyat resort in Jibab. A law enforcement patrol that tried to stop them came under fire. 42. At 1525 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel near the Bilal mosque in Darà town centre, injuring one man. 43. At 1800 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on the checkpoint at the law enforcement forces prison in Tafas. 44. At 1830 hours, an armed terrorist group stormed the Darà directorate of water resources and stole two artesian well drilling rigs and two water tanks. They also stole several computers and damaged offices. 45. At 1900 hours, an armed terrorist group placed an 80-kg explosive device in Busra square in Darà. It was defused. 46. At 2230 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire at random on the police station and law enforcement checkpoint in Ghabaghib. Idlib governorate 47. At 0500 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on the Kafr Ziba law enforcement forces checkpoint. 48. At 0500 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on the Bzabur junction law enforcement forces checkpoint. 49. At 1600 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel near the cultural centre, injuring one man. 4 12-34240 S/2012/312 50. At 2000 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel on the way in to Ariha. 51. At 2000 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel at Bzabur junction. 52. At 2000 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel at Kafr Ziba junction. 53. At 2000 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in Jabal al-Arbaìn. 54. At 2200 hours, an armed terrorist group placed an explosive device on the Salqin-Kafr Takharim road. It was defused. 55. At 2300 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel near the Ma`rrah municipality. Rif Dimashq governorate 56. At 0200 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire at random within the town of Qatna. 57. At 0300 hours, an armed terrorist group attacked the Hasan Khalil Company bus garage in Zabdin and set fire to 32 green Zhongtong buses, destroying them completely. They also stole the car belonging to the company accountant. 58. At 1000 hours, an armed terrorist group opened fire on law enforcement personnel in Nasiriyah, killing Sergeant Ahmad Isa Isa. 59. In Sabburah, an armed terrorist group placed an explosive device on the road leading up to Zabadani. It was defused. Damascus governorate 60.
