Once admitted, a thorough analysis is conducted to determine each student’s unique needs, strengths, and challenges, which results in an Individualized Holistic Plan. Designed around the way each child learns best, this plan integrates cognitive, academic, social, and behavioral strategies into a comprehensive program designed to educate the whole child and unlock his or her potential for lifelong learning and fulfillment.

WEEKDAY ACTIVITIES FOCUS ON ENJOYING THE BREHM COMMUNITY, CLUBS, AND CAMPUS FROM SWIMMING AND SKATING TO ART CLUB AND COOKING. INDIVIDUAL LESSONS AND COMMUNITY- BASED PROGRAMS INCLUDE EVERYTHING FROM HORSEBACK RIDING AND MUSIC LESSONS TO MARTIAL ARTS AND MODERN DANCE. Brehm faculty are certified and trained in a broad spectrum of learning differences and the related social and psychological implications. Teaching staff has an average of 12 years in the development and delivery of curriculum for students with learning differences and many hold advanced degrees. Specialists include five full-time, ASHA certified speech-language pathologists, registered nurses, and two Licensed Clinical Social Workers. An average teacher-student ratio of 1:6 enables critical one-to-one interaction.
